Me too! Though I'm glad I haven't reached the stage where I think it's a good idea to put him in a bow tie and promote him to ringbearer
re my save the dates, I'm sure you're right about just telling her - I'm obviously not 100% happy as I'd have sent them out by now if I was, and I think she'd be mortified if she thought I didn't like them. I must remember to take a pic and post it later - they're still pretty lovely(which is why I feel so churlish!)

As if a cat would ever do that for you! I'm sure they are lovely, but if they're not what you envisaged that's irrelevant. It's just unfortunate timing with her going away, otherwise you'd have seen the proofs and altered them before printing and it wouldn't have been a big deal. I'm SURE she won't mind, she wouldn't have run them all off for the first place if she was bothered that she might have to do it againWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0

If you're not 100% happy it'll play on your mind Poddle, as you said, the time consuming bit's done so speak up and ask her to change them.
OH put this global economic crisis into personal perspective today. Our share save scheme pays out next year and we were due to get about £15/16k from it... with the current share price we've 'lost' £4k! :eek:Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Yeah i agree you should say something, especially if you are paying her.I am sure she would rather you be happy with them.0

Oooh Birdie, can't wait to see the wedding invites...
Poddle, have you had them around for a couple of days? Do you still not like them? I sometimes need a few days to be able to appreciate things, if they're a bit different than I had expected. But if I still didn't like them, I'd tell the person. Does that even make sense? Think my brain is still dead!
Wendz, thinking of your OH.
Aww Cinny, can't believe you wouldn't come to East London for the Olympics! It's a great place (normally!!) :rotfl: Hehehe:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -
Have you not got any wedding pics to show us Lara? Not even any amateur ones on FB? I wanna see!!!!!
Feel a bit like I've talked up these invites too much now, you'll all be really disappointed when you see piccies!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Jeeez Birdie, £4k  Least you have some time for it to go back up again.
With you all on finding the riots horrible, hoping your DH is Ok wendz - how worrying. At least you have the new washing machine to cheer you up!
They just need to stop this. I just know it'll turn into massive finger pointing by all the political parties, yawn. Doubt there's any one reason why these people are out there - yes things can be tough now under this government, but they grew up under a labour government who spent masses on them with not much to show for it and it's surely your families who should shape you as a person mainly.
Just feel so bad for the innocent people in all this, what if your home gets burnt down and money was too tight to buy insurance, what if you'd had your job in a shop for years but it now has to shut and you aren't trained for anything else:(:(
Simons cat is just what we need in this situation! He's brilliant. And yeahhhh Lara's wedding pics would also be a welcome distraction!
