Ah Dinah, bless your granddad. Old people are brilliant, aren't they?! I'd love to still have grandparents - I wish I'd asked them all those things! Such a lovely idea Zig
Excellent news on the Barclaycard, Birdie - is it one of those super duper 24 month affairs? I wish I didn't already have one. I applied for Post Office card today with a 14-mth offer and £50 cashback, but have been referred so not very optimistic. Nevermind, it'll be the last thing I apply for for a while as I'll have no chance once I've finished my job in October!LBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380 -

Freaking fabulous! Well done Dinah, you seem really into the debt busting again. How much interest will that save you? And hooray for yours too Birdie.
I'm not doing so well, my laptops on the blink and I've had a mad weekend so no chance of ebaying etc. Also went over my credit card limit, they're meant to text me when I'm £50 away so I'll be complaining if they charge me.
However, I am now a graduate! Had a lovely day yesterday though the cap and gown was boiling, managed not to trip in the insane shoes though and had an amazing meal at the top of the Baltic. Love your shoes Zig, must be your turn soon?
I need to see Harry Potter, jealous of those of you who have. I'm billy no mates back at home, all my home friends are scattered about now.
Happy 3 month birthday baby Poppy!
Cinny you should def treat yourself to Miami, it kind of sounds like 'Mini' so it's a fair swap for your winnings
I've lost track of everyone else sorry! My jobs too new to log on here during the day yet so I can't keep up, I have to pretend to be hard working!

I love the look of that Diary Zig! Don't like the idea of starting half way through the year, will have to get it and put it away for Jan 1st
Yeah I thought the same, but then I figured it won't matter once I've started. Plus I'm impatient
Great news on the Barclaycards Birdie and Dinah! I have my student overdraft to pay off but other than that my money is ok at the mo. Really I should use my savings to pay off my overdraft.. but I don't want to.shrimpy_80 wrote: »It took me ages to get that Diagon Alley was a play on words
I don't get it..
Congratulations on graduating Archers! Glad you didn't trip!Mine is tomorrow. I feel sick with nerves actually. I've been reading the info and I'm 99.9% sure my mum and dad will have to sit together, and I know they'll get my name wrong, and I just spoke to my dad and he sounded really annoyed and was asking how long he'd have to be there and when he could leave. I know he's busy with work but jeez..
