I forgot to say.. hapy birthday NIM i hope you had a fabulous time :) And i want to see pictures of the cake!

Also Dinah i think thats good about the MA! At least theyre showing investment in you! And NIM with the payrise potential/new job! Did he finish his (was it law?) OU Degree? Even if the money goes on travel it's still about the long term gains I guess and the potential to earn more. I thought you were looking to maybe move when the house is finished anyway so if there was a new job on the cards then maybe that would just be taken into consideration when deciding where to live?! (sorry if i've got that all completely wrong!)

Aaaaand Cinny thanks for the love film idea.. I want to do one but i want to actually be able to watch the films and this feels like the first bit of free time I've had to myself in ages!

    Hi all!

I'm home, I'm home, I'm home :j:j:j and it feels great! After a very stressful day yesterday of trying to pack up the rest of my stuff, trying to feed a hungry Evie in the midst of it all, and getting 8 boxes of stuff returned back to my flat by Fedex (dodgy noise coming from one of the boxes which was most likely a toy belonging to Max!) I boarded the flight with my babies, OH and my Mam and we got home. Feels great :)

Kavics - that is an unreal amount to pay off. Congrats to you! I hope that we are debt free by the end of 2012. We are hoping to have more disposable income from Feb onwards.

Dinah - how did the debt creep up to 30k. Not judging at all (look at me I have been stuck at 15k for about 3 years, going up and down). I was just wondering if there were big house purchses to show for it at all. You are very determined though so you will get through it in no time. Can I make a suggestion - why don't you make minimum repayments and take a month off from the whole thing, then start afresh again. You seem to have debt busting (with a vengeance) for a long time now and I think you might be a wee bit burnt out. Give yourself a few weeks to chill out in the bath, read some trashy magazines & then you can recharge and refocus (((Hugs))).

Flower - any sign of this baby? Hope you are okay.

Wendz- hope the separation anxiety goes soon for Poppy. Max never had it really although it took him about 6 weeks to get used to creche, but I think that was more getting used to something new. He shouts hiya at everyone and if they don't respond he gets louder until they do respond. I think he would go off with anyone! Apparently I was very like that when I was younger too! My niece is a few weeks older than Poppy and has terrible separation anxiety too, my sister has to be in her sight at all times. It is quite cute, but I'm sure stressful for Mummy.

Hi Tinks, Tete, Archers & Lara!

    Belated Happy Birthday NIM

Thanks Everyone. How did we do it? Work and not spending on unnecessary things (though energy drink was on our shopping list every week!). I worked between 50-60 hours a week, OH did very similar hours. Nothing extra tbh, what we sold on ebay or amazon was minimal as we already got rid off lots of stuff. We did have £3300 extra from our investment property abroad which we meant to use it to pay towards the mortgage there but decided to pour it towards our debt here.

I think I am blessed with an OH who is as focused and motivated as I am. He just asked me what we are going to do next, I think we need to learn how to take it slowly. And I want a new BED and a BABY:)!!!

    Hello everyone!

I like how within a couple of days of my popping off everyone was saying how quiet is it without me... think maybe I talk too much?! :o

Had an absolutely fantastic amazing honeymoon! Florida is one of those mental places that you leave feeling like you've done everything and nothing at the same time! Was so hot, especially in the first week as the humidity was at 100% on top of the 98F heat... OH didn't handle it well bless him but in the second week it got better thank goodness. Harry Potter land was amazing, we were like kids in a sweet shop (literally... we went to Honeydukes!) and predictably spent a fortune on wands, chocolate frogs, pumpkin juice, butterbeer and sending owl post home! :D The attention to detail is just beyond words, we could have spent an hour just looking at everything in the queue for the main ride, it is really close to the movies and games too so we felt like we knew our way around- geeky or what?! We got chatting to someone at Universal who hinted that there were plans to expand it so fingers crossed they do so we can go back again!

We loved the Magic Kingdom too, can't believe my parents convinced me that it was 'rubbish' after our first visit when I was 7 so we never went back, it was just so beautiful and magically Disney... we met a handful of princesses but my favourite by miles was Rapunzel, we had to wait an hour to meet her in the boiling sun and missed our bus home but it was worth it, really funny and cute and we had a lovely chat about Pascal and Maximus and how he's eaten all the 'Carmel' apples in the 'candy store' then got OH to do his Flynn Ryder smoulder for the camera! :D We really did turn into big kids over there! Shame the princesses are all teeny tiny so I look huuuuge in all of our photos with them! On the subject of princesses, I didn't have the makeover, couldn't get an appointment but OH has declared that as soon as his little girl (please, let us have one!) is 3 we're going to get her the full package, they were so cute! To make up for that disappointment I got a very nice bag which I heart a lot, but OH did not heart the price tag! ;)

Glad to hear that you had a lovely honeymoon too Lara, Florence sounds divine! :)

Really happy to hear that you're home CMD, hope the unpacking goes well and that Max and Evie settle in nicely!

I love the dress you picked for the wedding Wendz, popped into town with OH this afternoon and saw it in the window just after reading about it and said, 'Ooh, that's Wendy's dress!'... OH didn't have a clue what I was going on about! :o

Really like the photos of New York Dinah and NIM, you certainly celebrated your anniversary in style! What is this new plan for debt-clearing that you hinted at?

Hello to everyone else, I had replies planned but my jet-lagged brain isn't working too well!

Will think of my October goals, right now all I can think of is unpacking! :)

I have to ask the same question as everyone else Dinah, how did it get up to 30k? Or is that your Student Loan included? I know you said at the start of this about including it. Well, possibly!!

That's amazing going though Kravics!! Seriously, that's awesome! Roll on next month :D

Glad you're home CMD, have to say you "sound" 1000x happier already.

The honeymoon sounds so you, Birdie! When I was driving home yesterday in the horrible rain on the motorway (wasn't all gloom, was singing my heart out to Taylor Swift) I did wonder when you'd be back posting about your sunny adventures so we could all mac on the post-holiday sunshine!

Hope everyone else is well, and Poppy too! Bless her! It is pretty adorable though.

Tink, this is the one we're on about! Go for it :D I'm starting her Yoga Meltdown this week (tried other DVDs but everyone has such a pansy voice it drives me insane!) And start her Ripped in 30 possibly in November.

Everything's well in the Cinny household, not much to report. OH came home with about a months wages in casino winnings last night (he started with £20, I think) But I feel bad talking about our luck when everyone else is struggling :undecided

    Aftrnoon all,

Yay for being home CMD, bet you feel happy and relieved!

Birdie - the honeymoon sounds like it was amazing! Saw some of the piccies on facebook and looks like you had so much fun. Love that you mentioned me to your OH he must have thought you were mad haha.

Cinny - well done to your OH! Don't worry about talking about it, is lovely to know you are having some luck and hopefully it will rub off on all of us.

We are back from the wedding, was really nice and Poppy was well behaved although got a bit tired in the evening so we left a bit early. The bride who was one of my really good friends from uni thought of everything and there were some lovely touches. Poppys highchair even had a ribbon round it and she had a little surprise on the table of a toy in a little pink bucket with a P on it. Really annoyed in the hecticness of it all that I forgot to get any pics of the three of us or full lenth ones of my dress etc!
