You'll get there Poddle, no doubt about it! I suppose it's better to take it slowly, then you'll know the weight will stay off.
I already do other Jillian DVDs, 6 week abs and banish fat. But I think because it's the first the shred is my favourite! I might just stick it out an alternate between Level 2 and 3. I think they'll still kill for many months yet. There's always a way to push yourself a little harder on a move - add weights ect ect!0 -
Will you be taking time off work to do the Masters or is it an evening thing Dinah?
Work are sending me on it, so I will be going on work time, so my wages won't be affected, I'll just not be in the office.
Shredding is my main fat burner, I don't know how Dinah's getting on with it but it's a classic!
I'd love to have time to do it. I know its only 30 mins out of my day but at the moment things are so manic I struggle to have time to have a bath let alone exercise. I'm missing out on mystery shops as I can't get there in time, so while it was doing good things for my physically, mentally it's one more stress I can't deal with at the moment. So work, debt, new business and uni have made my top four priorities (which I would feel better about only having three to focus on), exercise fell outside the golden focus zone along with hobbies, relaxation time, decorating, and tidying the no go rooms.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Hi everyone, have been reading but not having time to post as trying to cram all internet use in during sneaky breaks at work, no prospect of internet from Sky for at least another two weeks and no response to my complaint email, bah!
So sorry to hear about your loss Zig, hope you're holding up ok x
Just popped on to post October goals, although I'm still undecided about them 5 days in!
Lose 7lbs (snap Archers!)
Get xmas voucher stash up to £100 (already on £30 with £20 more ordered)
Book first two AAT exams
Do £10 a day challenge (not going well so far!)
Find another 20 ebay items (house already bare)
Get to payout on dooyoo
Be ready to pass driving test (booked for early Nov, couldn't get a date this month)
End month with debt under £3k (I can dream!)
With that in mind, I have an assignment due today which needs checking over, so better kick myself off here to do it!
Happy new shoes Wendz, they were just what I was picturing too, weird!
Oh also - have added £11.51 from Quidco and £5 from reward account to challenge - not sure if anyone is keeping up with it but I'm still finding it a motivation so will ramble on about it still if no-one minds
ETA - Forgot to say, hope all is well with Flower, no sign of her for a couple of days which may mean little Flower is on his/her way...?

Hey everyone!
Zig - so sorry to hear about your Uncle. Hope you're bearing up and my thoughts are with you at this difficult time.
Do we have a baby Flower yet? Seems like a lot of people I know are pregnant or have just had babies. Makes me a little broody but then the fear quickly sets in again!
Dinah - What MA are work sending you on?
Didn't get the job I had an interview for last week. Not too bothered because I really didn't want the thing in the end. The people didn't give off a good vibe and they changed the job description after I'd applied. Still it was interview experience for Friday this week. If I get this job I will be shouting from the rooftops. If I don't, I've just applied for a job in my old uni which I would love, but I don't think the OH will be happy about me moving the North East again
As far as October Challenges go:
-New Job (or at least another interview)
-Pass driving test
-Pass MSc (still waiting for results)
-List 10 items on eBay
-Lose 7lbs
-Get to level 2 shred
-Restart C25K

What does your OH do Ruby? Could he move if you don't get the one down near him?
Saw a job for Tete today as a seamstress, but it was on pretty rubbish pay at £6.50 an hour, 40 hours a week, doing clothing alterations and prom dresses in a shop in Stockton.
My MA will be in Conservation & Heritage, which is what I already do as a job, just this was I'd be officially qualified not just winging it!
I'm supposed to be building up hours at work but I feel rotten, glands are up and my colleague just told me I look pale and flushed at the same time.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

He works for the Police (but not as a police officer). He could transfer to a different force after February but there are freezes in recruitment and it looks unlikely he could transfer anywhere in the near future. The MA sounds interesting! OH is having to do an NVQ for his job, he's a bit fed up with it to be honest. Morning
Looks like there are some good Oct challenges.
Ruby - fingers crossed for the interview this week.
Think I may have to wait till next month to do some christmas shopping as low on money already this month. Next month am getting a bit more in paypacket and also will hopefully be able to redeem some vouchers to use towards.0 -
Sorry to hear money's low already Wendz. Hopefully things won't be too tight for you!
People inside my radio keep telling me things are meant to hit as bad as 2008 soon. Leaves you cold doesn't it?! I don't get how people are meant to cut back and still have a life worth more than work and bills anymore.
House and bed to myself tonight as OH is staying at a friends. He wasn't impressed when I asked if they were going to braid each others hair and talk about boys. But what else do you actually do at sleepovers? Other than watch a scary movie and eat pizza.0
