good luck with your list tonight Dinah, but you don't seem to be taking it very easy...! Are you feeling any better? x

Aye I'm mostly there, have a wierd stabby pain in my right side today though, straight under the rib and through the middle of my chest.

Makes me laugh how keen men are to have babies, thought it was meant to be us women! OH was the one who said to me to stop taking it haha.

I think it's men all the way, NIM has wanted to start trying since we got married and I've been the one to break his hopes and dreams!

I think men tend to be keener for babies than women since it's not that big a change for them, OH just thinks, 'Oooh a baby would be nice' whilst I'm thinking, '9 months of being fat and uncomfortable, not being able to eat/drink what I want, turning into a milk factory, childbirth... hmmm maybe I can wait another month before starting down that road!' :rotfl: Whoever said we were the weaker sex was deluded!
Lol I hadn't even really considered any of that. Can't say I mind it though, part of being a woman and all that earth-mother-zenness. Lack of sleep bothers me, and not being able to afford to take maternity leave/being stupidly tight with childcare once I go back to work bothers me though.

Me and another colleague have been playing sleuth and think a third colleague is in the family way. She's stopped drinking coffee and says she doesn't fancy it since she had a throat infection (feesible) and has been spotted browsing buggies online on her lunchbreak (no explanation). Although she has just joined slimming world so maybe we're way off base!

I'm not that bothered about all the Mummy-stuff, it's just going to be a massive shock to the system and I'm not sure how I'll take to it really! :o

Maybe the colleague has joined SW to make sure she's eating properly for the baby and not gaining too much weight?! I'm waiting for a friend to announce her 'news' if OH and I are correct, she came to OH's party and had a drink but just took a sip then held onto the full glass all night... interesting! She's also got a little tummy growing (but maybe just holiday weight?!) and she was telling me how much she loved being pregnant with her first and was rubbing her tummy looking all motherly... but maybe we're just wishing it to be true! :)

To be honest I hate the whole pregnancy thing but love the baby thing. If I didn't have to do the pregnancy thing I would have more children by now but as it is there'll be a 4 year gap between DD and the baby - that's how long it took me to get my head round doing it again!!!!

yay to the breakfast birdie. that will be really good. when do you go???

dinah hope you are okay and the pain isn't too bad

That's a bit defeatist Dinah! You'll do everything and more! :)

We go on Thursday Starnac, main points to remember are Harry Potter world on Friday and breakfast with Mickey & Co next Saturday! :D Haven't booked the Princess make-over so don't know when that'll be, we're going to check it out this Saturday and hopefully they'll be able to squeeze me in at some point! Can you imagine what I'll be like when I take my kids?! 'Ahh we can only afford one princess make-over... and I'm having it!!!' :rotfl:

Ooh yes, New York photos, please!

Birdie, good on you for booking the Mickey breakfast - you know OH will enjoy it really! Eep, just two sleeps to go!

LOL at your broody husbands :) Ah Wendz, glad you've sorted a nursery - all the parents I know have said that the babies are totally fine, and then they go and have a little blub in the car :o

I have worked out i am going to be making 170 a month after travel and childcare...depressing. Wondering whether i shuld stick it out for a bit and then bring 2nd baby forward, much better off on maternity pay!

I want to see new york piccies too!

I'll add New York piccies to the list for tonight then :D

I'd bring the second little one forward Wendz as it certainly looks like the right move financially, maybe leave it till Poppy is 1 to start trying as 2 under 2 would be a bit exhausting (although I think they're all exhausting!). Especially since you never know if it will take 1 month or 1 year for them to put in an appearance.
