Sigh - my house is conspiring to kill me... oh ok that might be a touch melodramatic!
My boiler is losing pressure, but there are no simple signs of leakage under the upstairs floorboards... my plumber put in a leak sealant, drained the heating system, bled the radiators and ran the heating full blast to let the sealant get through the system, and I topped it back up to 2-bars ... it is obviously a slow leak somewhere... sigh.

Next week the decorator will hopefully come and see if we can get the front room redecorated.

    Oh House, why, WHY!

When our boiler loses pressure I just open a couple of valves until it reads 1 (not sure of units, PSI?).

It's not losing much, and with the heating not on, it's probably not making whatever the leak is worse.

The plumber put in a self-sealant in the system and we let the heating run for a bit and then I upped the pressure. There's no obvious signs of a leak outside from the pressure valve and there's no signs of lake damage on the downstairs ceilings, so if there is a leak it's not in the pipework to the three rads upsiars. Which leaves my lovely flooring downstairs throughout and round the back of the kitchen to the bathroom. Sigh.

In other news - I finally paid myself some expenses but it's been an expensive month with subscriptions so need to build up some reserves again. But at least I got boss to agree to pick up my flight to Madrid, so that was good... I will bill for that next week and can pay that off at least.

Time to be a lot more sparing with the credit card if I want to keep up with my min £1000 a month to the mortgage.

On the weight loss front - 6 weeks of non-stop tennis is making exercising hard with the hours, so being extra protein-conscious to avoid snacking in between... weight shifting slowly ... but hey, I'll take slowly ANY day rather than nowt or worse, going up!

Honestly - the W00lwich are getting to be bl00dy useless.
Ever since there was one month where they got the calculation wrong, and had two letters come out with different adjusted figures, every time I pay over, they send me a letter with the next month's payment MORE than the one I just paid.

I am in a foul mood thanks to the lazy scrote of a part timer acting like he is entitled to us running around after him so I am in none to graciuos a mood....

Well the W00lwich admit they have a long standing issue with these calculations and the woman I spoke to was ok - so the amount next month comes down to £373ish
    3x = £1119
    Interest-ish is £62
So for first time my over-payment drops below £1200.... which is nice...

@Habibiboo - alas we're in the middle of the French Open and we have no days off during a slam - so the day is mainly trying to write and watching tennis and posting on social media platforms, followed with frantically writing and trying to file while the useless developers drop the content management system with no warning...

Don't even get me started on my tales of online dating... that's for another day when I have some time!

I really do wonder how the LTA justify their staff. My original applications to cover Birmingham and Eastbourne for two separate agencies were "lost" (as were applications from a couple of established sites).
Tournament begins this week with qualies - only got my accreditation today and nothing from Eastbourne yet.

Very annoying as I have applied to the LTA MANY times for press/media roles and it disappears into a black hole.

    Hi Hurdler :)

Hope you're not getting too frazzled with being busy, your use of the word 'scrote' made me chuckle!

    Take care.

It's been a bit of a time, I don't mind admitting. These six weeks are brutal... I am looking ruefully at a desk strewn with expenses and finances to sort, trying to watch two matches at the same time to write about them, get laundry done.

I just stripped the bed so I can't even go have a lie down before my later shift!!!
