MCI
Yeha - the European tour has been brutally long with very long days... I managed:
WTA Stuttgart
Madrid Masters
WTA Birmingham
WTA/ATP Eastbourne
The Boodles
Wimbledon
and then obviously working on everything else in between with very little rest
Need to have a deep and meangingful conversation with the bossette because there has kinda been an expectation that we (me and the other fulltimer) just work around the clock and both of us are at breaking point. On the one hand, this stint happens just once a year and nothing will ever be as bad. But they have to let us get some balance - at the moment we haven't really been able to socialise, have evenings off if we're not working the 5-midnight shift etc... hopefully with the tour in the US things will settle down.- Mortgage @ March 2008: £194,965 ; Lightbulb Moment: July 2011: £164,926; End Date: March 2033

Oh well - part way through the business stuff but decided to spend my evening catching up with what I have recorded in the last month on Sky Plus.
Will try and get some done tomorrow in between being back at writing about tennis. Of course if my chat with the boss doesn't go well I could have TONS of time to catch up.- Mortgage @ March 2008: £194,965 ; Lightbulb Moment: July 2011: £164,926; End Date: March 2033

Well - progress-ish....
June's expenses done, paid and even a teensy weensy dividend!
I decided Vernon will only cough up 3x the overpayment as there isn't enough to sweep across in the current account next month because of the expenses and a month of tennis traipsing... and I have a holiday coming up as well plus eventually (don't get me started) my delayed repairs to the leaks from outside!- Mortgage @ March 2008: £194,965 ; Lightbulb Moment: July 2011: £164,926; End Date: March 2033

Inching along - the money I made from my last IT writing is dwindling away so I am probably good for one more month of overpayment that triggers an reduction and then I might have to try and pay off at least double if possible until I amass some more funds. But I figure it's better to overpay at least one month if possible...

Latest numbers from the W00lie-heads
Outstanding Mortgage £75,494.53 and monthly payment in August will be £366.96
Interest for the month is roughly £62.10
Off on hols to Crete but hoping to be able to squirrel away enough to over pay £1163 next month. Just been paid for some extra work I did over Wimbledon so should be able to have some spare change to cover expenses fairly comfortably!- Mortgage @ March 2008: £194,965 ; Lightbulb Moment: July 2011: £164,926; End Date: March 2033

OK so back to money-saving.
T3sco groceries delivered so first thing done - batch of thai spiced sweet potato and courgette soup done for tomorrow (as the healthy thing HAS to start and I consider this week in Crete as a complete reset!)
I have discontinued using an MBNA credit card linked to Play.com as their arrangement of points for spending comes to an end this year, so I redeemed 4000 points and have a £40 voucher which will do for the Borgen 3-series box set and the Bluray version of The Hobbit (Desolation of Smaug).
Tomorrow I am doing a Wii-Fit session to ease myself back into the swing of things, and then working a long day as it is me on my todd.
PLENTY of letters from W00lwich so I can sort out the paperwork for my company accounts AND self-assessment.
Time to get back at things and be a LOT more disciplined.- Mortgage @ March 2008: £194,965 ; Lightbulb Moment: July 2011: £164,926; End Date: March 2033
