Has the press accreditation been sorted or shouldn't I ask!

Still desperately trying. Might have a second site and possibly even Reuters might sort me out a pass... but nothing concrete yet.
Secretly hoping for Reuters if I am being honest as that might lead to more sports work paid rather than another site which isn't paid.

One of the girls I work with in a keen tennis fan. This year she's been able to get tickets for the final day of Queens

Yes my bestie in my tennis classes has tix for the semis and the finals.
I *think* I will be covering Birmingham that week and hopefully Eastbourne and Boodles the week after

Me working on my own today and starting around 10am because it's going to be a long day.

I think I will need to do some little bits of packing in between as the cab is coming to pick me up tomorrow around midday.

So plan is to do bits and bobs in my 10-15 minute eye-walk break like iron my trews and sort out T-shirts etc (apparently it's gonna be warm in Madrid)!

    To Do...
    • Packing - instead of grumbling about suitcase on the bed for once put it in the SPARE room where it won't be a pain in the wotsit
    • Nibble away at business expenses
    • A few compy bits and bobs
    • [STRIKE]Update iPhone and iPad [/STRIKE]
    • Dishwasher last thing tonight

    Back from Madrid!

Hmm my MBNA Play.com Visa will be discontinued as a parternership by the end of the year - so no handy play points.

So have opted for Mr T's credit card, and I also indulged (for maybe only the second time EVER) in getting my groceries delivered this morning so now for the first time since leaving for Stuttgart at the end of APRIL(!) I have fresh vegebubbles in the fridge!

I so need to get back into some kind of fitness... hopefully this will help!!!!

In other news - since switching to BT's Business broadband my printer dialogue where I can print in draft/2 side to 1 page as stopped working... so I have had to resort to be sneaky whenever I want to save paper and ink and change it in the settings and then print. Annoying.

Day off tomorrow so going to sort out expenses, mortgage and company accounts. Fun (not)... see "Annoying" above...

Oh well - so much for the gym - on my days off I have started to leave the alarm off and sleep to whenever I wake naturally so after working 8 days straight from around 9am to 1am I slept solidly from about midnight to 9 this morning... a sure fire sign I needed nap time!

So no gym as I need to go get a mop chop in town... and I am eyeing receipts from Stuttgart and Madrid with an extraordinary level of distaste!

First three items on my to-do:
    • Town/Haircut
    • Business Expenses
    • Veggie-bag the... well veggies!

Cheers Ed - by the time I got to the QFs in Madrid I wanted to kill people. A lot! Mainly people who refuse to die in tennis matches when they lose the first set. From now on, who ever wins the coin toss wins the match!

Spain or Germany? Cos in Spain it's the law to eat lots of crusty white bread and aioli. Fact :D.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Spain on the White bread... both countries in terms of meat, meat, meat and... oh have some meat, and with obligatory potatoes.

The first couple of days was great, but after that it was... "uh huh? Again?"

Wow - I have really lapsed in my organisation - so many receipts... too many Grand Slams and tournaments...

    Anyhoo ... 3x Overpayment + month's interest done today...
Houseys updated and Vernon the Mortgage pig will probably have to share some money out as my car insurance is due and I booked my first real holiday since 2009 - a week on a beach in Crete on a quiet week of no worthwhile tournaments to speak of!

What I MUST do by the end of this week is pay myself April's expenses (up to the end of my financial year only... meh!) and then sort out May's and try and stay on top of things ahead of a month of tennis and being away.

On the DOWN side at Hurdler Mansions, my boiler is losing pressure, but there are no obvious leaks near the radiators or pipe work and the decorator is coming round next week to assess whether he can re-do the paper/painting where the living room had water seeping through the wall.
