Well I suppose it's a saving - My actual move to Journalism rather than IT consultancy means I can't be offered business insurance.
It's weird because I think I can have professional indemnity at least but hey ho!- Mortgage @ March 2008: £194,965 ; Lightbulb Moment: July 2011: £164,926; End Date: March 2033

I suppose if I write something along the lines of "Pushitovernetski is a complete liability to the game and I could play better with my my eyes closed and no arms and legs - this guy will never get anywhere, mark my words" and I get into war of words with him - I save myself the hassle of being sued when sponsorship contracts go south because they believe the word of a sports hack ...
I guess it is more cover for Defamation if you ever get sued for harming someone's reputation.- Mortgage @ March 2008: £194,965 ; Lightbulb Moment: July 2011: £164,926; End Date: March 2033

On a more humourous note - on the phone to Sky and they seem to be flummoxed at the prospect of my having no broadband services from them anymore!

For once, instead of staying awake after manning the fort all on my own yesterday and finishing late - I went BACK to bed and slept soundly for another two hours.
OK so I might miss the gym (depends on how much I get done today) but I think I won't lose another hour for a midday nap so perhaps I can get a load of stuff done.
Broad list- Personal Finances
- Business Finances
- Laundry/Ironing (latter in front of the tellybox FINALLY watching some of my DVDs)
- Some other computer bits and bobs (updates to Tom Tom, etc)
- CHILLAX and watch endeavour tonight with a lovely glass of wine

I think it brings such a rich back story... I remember me and one of my house mates always cramming into my room at Uni to watch Morse.
When ITV get their dramas right, they do it extremely well (Prime Suspect, Broadchurch)- Mortgage @ March 2008: £194,965 ; Lightbulb Moment: July 2011: £164,926; End Date: March 2033

OK - so I lied about the afternoon nap!
I bought some Monin coffee syrups from Mr T (yes yes I know impulse buy) but I have now gotten through all the free Nespresso capsules and I used up my £40 voucher to buy ordinary coffee, Chociatino and Caramelito capsules and had some gingerbread syrup with one of the normal coffee capsules. Just like having a st4rbucks one!- Mortgage @ March 2008: £194,965 ; Lightbulb Moment: July 2011: £164,926; End Date: March 2033

I guess being in Oxford and of the same vintage, it has special memories for me too.
The quality of the new series is excellent, keeping the composer was genius, and the actor has clearly studied Morse extensively because I see many of the John Thaw mannerisms.0
