It can't be done, I BT to MBNA and straight after called M&S and did a BT for the same value!

The same day my HSBC BT hit MBNA there was already a credit there from M&S.

I couldn't find a way around the 2% fee from MBNA but for a lifetime rate of 3.9% i'm not too fussed!

I cleared all my overdrafts as well - M&S have a high interest rate for this so used MBNA again who charge 3% on OD's and then transferred straight to M&S :)

I've applied for a &More card tonight. Fingers crossed i'll get a good limit. If not i'll just use it for 0% purchases.

No there is no fee! BUT if your trying to transfer a balance from HSBC you can't . Therefor you can BT to another card then BT to M&S there is then going to be a fee from that other card.

No you can't transfer into an overdraft for free (normal cash purchase rate 15%+ I think) so BT to a card which you can do overdrafts (MBNA 3% charge) then BT to M&S

To save on extra fees being charged to your various cards and using a cash advance.
With M&S you can use your card to purchase money using the M&S money exchange, make sure you purchase £ Sterling and you can then spend it where you like including on your overdraft.
If you want to be clever and stooz a few pounds purchase $'s and exhange it back with another exchange (Co-op,Travel supermarket etc)at a more favourable rate.
    good luck.

How long did it take for anyone applying for this card to get a decision. I applied on sunday and was told 48hrs which isn't a problem. I appreciate they wouldn't have looked at it until Monday morning at the earliest. What slightly concerns me is that they never even sent me an email confiirming my application had been made as soon as i submitted it online. Am i worrying unduly?
