in Credit cards
Hi,
I took martins advice on best BT card and went for the M&S card.
Received my credit app to sign and send back. On my copy to keep (yellow copy if anyone has it to hand) under the "other financial information" section.
It mentions Total Charge For Credit which is £524.31 based on an assumed credit limit of £1500.
Did yours say this and you got a higher credit limit? Or did it have a different figure in here which you got?
I'm trying to work out my figures and hope I have been given more than £1500!
Question 2 - one of the balances I want to transfer is on a HSBC classic credit card, with M&S finance being a wholly owned subsidiary of HSBC has any one tried this or thinks there will be an issue?
Thanks everyone

Not sure exactly but I do know there's a bit on the main M&S Cards page that will let you register your interest in it so it'll tell you when online is available so it must be in the next couple of months (I hope!)

Should, and i emphaise should lol, be up and running by mid 2007. We are half way through finalislising the layout, how the site will navigate, and what you will be able to do/access online.
Register your interest in the online service at https://www.marksandspencer.com , following the link for 'money' and you will receive an Email when it is up and running.
Oh, just to add a quck message for any M&S employees reading this, if you havent already done so contact chester and ask them to send you out a staff registration form, once processed you will get the &more card at 9.9%APR. This was comunicated earlier in the year to all employess but its amazing how many people still don't know/applied!0 -
I guessed based on a formula, that the limit might be £5,700 or close...01. Marriott Rewards VISA (£2700 @ 17.9%)
02. HSBC MasterCard (£2250 @ 14.9%)
03. HALIFAX One MasterCard (£2200 @ 12.9%)
04. Monument VISA (£1000 @ 19.9%)
05. Aqua MasterCard (£500 @ 29.9%)0 -
Fahim I would be more than happy with that limit!0

Did you manage to BT your HSBC card to it? I know it says it can't be done but it might be worth a try...
