Wasn't around last year so this is a new thread to me. I do make new years resolutions though so I suppose that counts as the same thing.

    1. Be more organised -this always starts off well. Paper work gets filed weekly, doing my family tree and that started off neat and tidy using my files and one notebook ..............now I have fallen back to bits of paper everywhere.

    2. Have regular housework routine to keep on top of things - failed miserably with this..........hurt my back twice so couldn't do much, then recently tore a ligament in my ankle.

    3. Do something I've never done before - Joined a card making group and made all my own greetings cards........can be expensive so used what I had round the house, material, cardboard.........anything that would stick..........loved it and will carry on doing it.:T

    4. Recycle /re-use everything possible - This went well with the help of the 'invasion of the wheelie bins' , I used odd pieces of material I had for curtains/cushion covers...........bought at boot fairs and charity shops to save some cash.:T

That was about it really. Mum being ill in a care home stopped me going on holiday as I had to spend money on a b & b when visiting her numerous times during the year.

I intend to make a few more 'promises' to myself again this year for 2008.

Being more organised (including housework)...............(got to work eventually surely)
Learn a new skill..................ideas would be welcome (done water colour classes, taught myself computer stuff, started family tree, card making.........running out of ideas now)
Continue recycling/re-using, buying as cheap as I can

Thats about as many as I can think of at the minute............maybe I'll pick up some ideas from you all
    Mary

I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !
