well, I don't think customers are supposed to be checking barcodes on every sel with an offer! it's the stuff's job... if there was a label saying 80GBP off then I'd assume it's for the product behind/above/under it... and that means things don't add up... (etc.) I'd be calling up HO until they give in... :D

but you stated earler that the tv you took from the stack from was a different model and bar code to the 299 one? and was priced at 379
    confused

yes this was not found out until after he removed lable and saw behind the out of stock section it was a different model/series to the one in alfternative place on at 379. with an 80 off hanging about it so as said assumed 379 - 80 is 299 so thought that was a stash of reduced tellys without a revised label

    I am confused as well.

If the model was different to the one at a reduced price, why would Tesco offer dtd.

I hate Tescos, I would love them to refund you the whole amount and let you keep the tv, but I just dont get it anymore

If people didn't post here "just so more people will see it" then people wouldn't have to moan. You wouldn't post grabbits on the site feedback forum.

The way I see it if there was a red out of stock label it would be safe to assume the TV was the wrong one anyway, OP tried to pull a fast one by hoping for DTD (the only reason you wouldnt speak up at the till for an overcharge) and it backfired.
