Merry Christmas everyone,

I've had a lovely day. Family came over at 9am and have just left on the 4.30pm ferry. DGS loved his gifts and he had such a fun day playing with them. Took heaps of pictures of him. We are all stuffed full of food. The weather could have been cooler :rolleyes: but wasn't too bad. I hope your day has been wonderful and thank you for the friendships we've shared. xxx

Morning All & a Very Merry Christmas:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j

I've just snuck downstairs for a queit cuppa before the mayhem begins:D & remembered that I haven't finished printing out my parents memory book so just finished that off & need to pop in a bit of wrapping paper:rolleyes:. Everything is clean & sparkly, the spuds & veggies are prep'ed, the table is half laid. Got a 3 bird roast to go in the oven about 9.30 then I'm off to church, by the time i get back my parents will be here. We have an early-ish lunch then pressies this afternoon & silly games this eveing.

Merry Christmas everybody.
Everything is done, and at the moment should just be 3 of us OH, me and DD, her boyfriend joinng us later on..........oh no it's her fiancee now, a shock to her father I can tell you! Still he has been resuscitated with some :beer: !
If the fog doesn't lift, have said to parents who are supposed to be travelling to come here, so goodness knows what will transpire, as looks quite foggy out there just now.

Am just enjoying a quiet coffee all on my lonesome, before the bedlam begins..........this is bliss.

Like everyone else, I'm just having a quick coffee before waking the masses to open their stockings, we have a peaceful day planned actually because my family are not arriving until tomorrow. So we have croissants and Bucks Fizz waiting for our breakfast and I made a huge lasagne for lunch yesterday so that's all ready. We'll fill up (!) on mince pies and choccies and then I'll get started on the stuffings etc ready for Turkey Day tomorrow.

Merry Christmas from the foggy frozen north.
Just me and the cats awake at the moment.
Log burner is lit. Turkey ready to go in. Sprouts went on in February so should just about be ready.
Have hung stockings on my son and daughter in law's bedroom door (he's 31:D ).
