Is Dixons really out of stock, cause I just placed an order with them. I tried earlier this afternoon and it said oos and wouldn't let me order, but now I managed to place an order but said I would be expecting a call to confirm stock!?

I bought the 37" with cabinet stand.

...but I thought you said Dixons was oos. Just wondering if I should expect a call telling me it's not available or if there is a chance they have some left.

BTW I ordered the 42" with cabinet stand for £999 plus 2.5% off quidco.

I ordered it from Currys because Dixons were oos. Hubby didn't want the 42" too big!!

I went into Currys last weekend to show DH Panny 42" Tv I had purchased the night before from Dixons.
There were two of them on display one had a really bad reception showing a terrible picture of course this is the first one we saw and my DH was very disappointed I asked a sales assistant why the picture was so bad and was told they only have 2 aerials so all the tvs are split between the 2 not giving a true pic. luckly the second panny we looked at had a great picture Phew Hubby was pleased.
Comes Friday now just need a decent priced wall bracket.

Betterbargains... maybe worth checking out my post #37 on this thread. Also AV Forums as suggested. If you manage to get through all the info there I doubt very much you will buy an LCD never mind a Philips!

If you read all the info on AVF I doubt you'll buy this Panasonic either!!
