    Be careful with their prices.
I bought two pairs of jeans priced at £5.99 each on a sticker over the original price. When I got home and removed the stickers the original price underneath was £4.99.

went to my TJ Hughes today..... It was soooo busy,
ironic as if it was that busy all the time it probably wouldnt be closing
not really any bargains to be had
felt sorry for the staff there as they are always lovely when serving me :(

Same in Watford yesterday, really busy & HUGE queues - but the prices seemed the same as they have been for a while now! The closing down posters seem to be attracting customers, and some of their pricing is competitive anyway but I shop there regularly and there aren't many genuine reductions yet as far as I can see.

I went to the Watford branch yesterday (I go regularly to the store there anyway) and I couldn't find any genuine reductions. Do feel very sorry for the staff there.

No bargains in Dundee yesterday. Everything same price as usual.

  • Hi all,
I know this a stupid question, but any idea exactly when they will cease trading. My nearest store is in Newport and won't be able to get there till mid week.
    TIA

  • I went to the Ipswich Branch on Friday found the pricing confusing so asked. They said it was 50% off RRP. They never sold at RRP anyway. Had my eye on some bedding and a bag and they were not reduced at all. Bedding was actually more.

I popped in this morning, to be honest the prices don't seem to have reduced at all. As others have mentioned, a few things acutally seem to have gone up in price. We left empty handed.
