Apart from one person on page one has anyone actually been into a TJHughes and managed to find anything 75% off+. TJHughes normally say everything is 50% or more off the RRP so wondering if stuff is really reduced any more than it normally is. I suspect when businesses are closing they normally sell the contents of their shops and warehouses to other businesses (e.g. poundland?). I would be very surprised if they are 'giving it away' to normal punters. These amazing 'giving it away' closing down sales never seem to materialise very often. Anyway, am off there today so will let you know :) (I feel a bit like a vulture - it's so sad for the staff, especially in a 'ghosttown' like ours :( ).....

You can't get refund now - you have to exchange. I made stupid mistake of buying a couple of dresses from King's Lynn store without trying them on. There is a notice with very small print behind cashdesk - and same on shop window and Administration info does say online, if I'd thought to check. Have ended up with kettle instead which was only £1 cheaper than elsewhere. It's not as if I need a kettle, but I honestly couldn't find anything else! No real bargains to be had just yet - if ever.
