I really feel for the staff, blooming awful there way many well known stores are going this one just like Woolies was almost 100 years old

Has anyone had any great bargains recently? I'll be looking in the Romford one soon. Was going tomorrow but one child off sick so can't go. I am wondering though if there will be much and would appreciate some posts about actual purchases found? I remember the woolies one near us was awful. Some of the prices actually went up!!

We have a massive T J Hughes in Weston super Mare. Three floors. I am wondering with trepidation what will happen to it.
It was once an old style co-op (the one that sold furniture etc) - remember getting huge quantities of those blue divi stamps when buying a three piece suite. Its a very old building and will need a good facelift. Would make a great Debenhams but it is sad also that another familiar name going off the high street. Where our woolies was is now a Poundland (also another further down). That too was a massive store, and ideal for a H&M, River Island or Primark. What did we get - yet another £1 shop. Yawn!

Where will it all end?

Hoping to catch some bargains though, the homeware department is less of a jumble sale than the clothes area and don't even get me started on the kids clothes section, a proper shambles. It was to be fair, its own worst enemy.

Im in a ranty mood! forgive me! My other post on another thread was a moan too, lol!
