I went to my local T J Hughes today and most of the items had 20% 30% 40% and they had some christmas stock with 60% off.
I bought some dry shampoo, dandy socks, christmas plate, 2 snowmen, napkins and a christmas bauble with 'special dad' on all came to £6.0 -
I had a great time rooting through the bargains today!!
I got 27 items of clothing totalling £255 originally for £56!! Used the £5 off spend of £50 so made sure my purchase came to £90 before 40% came off.
Noticed they had 60% off signs behind the till so expect prices to keep dropping.
Shoes were 50% off but not much left.
Going for curtains tomorrow at 40% off and taking another voucher0 -
Managed to get a leather bag for £3.20 today, admittedly won't win 'bag of the year' but it was well worth the reduced price.
Most of the stock is starting to go from the Sunderland branch, shelves are being cleared towards the front of the shop. Lots of stuff seems to be the same price it was last year, with the odd £1 off here and there (also bought PJ's @ £4 a set but they were £5 original price)
I remember TJ's back when it first started appearing up in the North, you used you to be able to get a good selection of bargains that changed on a weekly basis. Still, sad to see another major chain go.0 -
They have some great linen crops in several colours that were cheap as chips at £6.99 so with 40% off I am sorted for next summer. Plus I rooted in the reduced stock and got 3 pairs from last season (same but no button on pocket) for £2.50 plus 40% off. I think I am probably a bit overstocked in the crops department now. Really pretty summer dresses originally £8 down to £2.50 again with another 40% off. Etc etc..0

Saw on the bbc yesterday that the adminstrators have managed to sell 4 shops to Lewis's Home Retail - Glasgow, Exeter, Liverpool & Eastbourne. The rest are still heading towards closure.

I am after a topper but will wait and see.... often the ones in the sales are two thin, I think you need 2inches to make a difference... no double meaning intended............... Have you ever wondered what

We went last week, hardly anything to find. My boyfriend fancied a memory foam pillow, with 10% off, and they were still cheaper on E-bay! Never mind eh? x0 -
