Been to the Burnley store this morning, stock is clearing and shop is half empty
Little left in electrical, household, curtains or bedding
Few baby clothes but not much for children over 18 months
Racks of ladies clothes and you have to rummage, 50 % off marked prices
limited underwear , I think that was 40% off
Not worth the journey unless you live nearby

Widnes was quite empty. Upstairs all of the right side from the lift backwards was cordened off (with no stock atall) then there were the beds in the middle (most reserved/sold) and then there were a few shelves over the left side with cutlery, books, kettles etc

On the ground floor there was quite a bit in the woman's section and a bit left in the cosmetics. Not much mens stuff left at all and most was just placed on a couple of shelves with the empty shelves all put to one side.

This was on Saturday so its upto you but I cant see there being anything left at all on Thursday. However there may be a few things left and they may be reduced heavily. Wouldnt really make a special journey there though :)

Thank you a lot. You have been very helful.:)

Has anyone been to the Glasgow store recently and can therefore report on deals and stock? I am coming to Glasgow this week-end and was thinking of having a look. I believe this store has been sold so maybe not having a big clear-out!

I went to Scu nthorpe store yesterday, not much left in electricals, I was hoping for a new kettle but never mind. I did get 2 pairs of fleece pyjamas, a nice black across body bag and some strawberry lip balm for just over £12, so I was very happy. They still had lots of clothing, bedding and curtains.

Yes doncaster still open, not closing for another 4 weeks so they are not reducing as much stock as some of the other stores

Was in Glasgow on Friday. Lots of queues but didn't see any great bargains. Bought a funny mug and was dearer than elsewhere £2.29 with 30% off. £1.00 elsewhere. Jeans I bought at Christmas were up in price with discount so still not cheap. Had hoped to pick up a couple of presents for birthday presents. Handbags all the nice ones were in brown. Was thinking about going this weekend but don't know if I would be buying things I didn't need.
