There were lots of bargains in Bootle Strand TJ's yesterday.

Will be heading to Widnes tomorrow which is one of the branches that is confirmed to be closing on Thursday! I wonder if they will knock any more off the prices as I expect they will want everything gone and with this weekend being their final weekend trading.

Its awful for the staff though! :(
  • Went in the Blackpool one today and loads of make up 29p, beauty items 40% off. Got a 12 piece porcelain dinner set for £4.89. Some fab bargains

Got a 7 l halogen oven for £15. Newcastle is receiving lots of stock from all the other stores so plenty of bargains to be had.

I went to Preston today (sale prices not on receipt and I'm tired!)

Paul Smith perfume (100ml) retails about £50 at Debenhams - £22, then 30% off
    J Lo Deseo 100ml was £14.99, then 30% off
    2 tubes curl cream Label M - £3.98, then 30% off
Almay foundation £3.99, then 30% off

Lots of curtains, handbags, shoes and crockery sets left as well as baking stuff, cups etc. Saw an Antony Worral Thompson knife set with 9 knifes in a wrap thing for £10 but it was then 30% extra off
Hoovers as well, fans, tv units, toasters and kettles
  • I went into the Liverpool shop on London Road earlier today and there are signs up saying all offers in that store end at 4.30pm tomorrow (Sun 7th). I tried to have a look around but it was too crowded in there for me and the queues for the tills were crazy so I didn't stay and don't know what deals there were.
