Been to TJ HUghes Newcastle store today. to be honest not very impressed. Things were not as cheap as i thought.

star product of the day seems to be the Prolectrix Halogen Oven , selling like hot cake. but i din get any as not sure if it is a bargain?

Same thing selling in Watford - wasn't certain it was actually a bargain.

There's a voucher on the TJ Hughes site for £5 off £50 spend and £10 off £100 spend - site here http://www.tjhughes.co.uk/pws/main.html and link direct to the voucher here:

Sorry if this has already been mentioned... had John Freida Brilliant Brunette Shampoo and Conditioner in the Hull store today for £2.29 each. I normally buy these for £4.99 each in Boots so grabbed a few. Also had quite a bit of homeware reduced to 66p - got a cute teabag plate in the shape of a teapot.

60% off in Wolverhampton store - absolutely heaving queues on all 3 floors.

Had no time to queue as was on lunch - hoping to go back in after work if anything left!!!
  • hi went in bradford store today and bought 2 sub zero g cases (2.18kg with 10 year garentee rrp £60)
they were priced at £40 but they scanned at £35 then they took off 25%
so i got 2 cases for £52.50! even cheaper than the ones i saw in argos that were out of stock everywhere

There were lots of bargains in Bootle Strand TJ's yesterday.

Will be heading to Widnes tomorrow which is one of the branches that is confirmed to be closing on Thursday! I wonder if they will knock any more off the prices as I expect they will want everything gone and with this weekend being their final weekend trading.

Its awful for the staff though! :(

is it worth to go to Widnes this Thursday or it's too late?

Widnes was quite empty. Upstairs all of the right side from the lift backwards was cordened off (with no stock atall) then there were the beds in the middle (most reserved/sold) and then there were a few shelves over the left side with cutlery, books, kettles etc

On the ground floor there was quite a bit in the woman's section and a bit left in the cosmetics. Not much mens stuff left at all and most was just placed on a couple of shelves with the empty shelves all put to one side.

This was on Saturday so its upto you but I cant see there being anything left at all on Thursday. However there may be a few things left and they may be reduced heavily. Wouldnt really make a special journey there though :)

    Hope that helps :)
