TJ Hughes Liquidation Sale

I went into my local TJ Hughes today, there was less customers than usual and I never noticed anyone buying anything. There was only 10% off, the prices seemed high for a store that is closing down.
I though they had 30% off some items?!?!? Can anyone confirm before i go down to my local one please?Just googling I found the following article: "realbusiness.co.uk/news/tj-hughes-debt-bought-by-liquidators" where it says that on July 12th the debt was bought so I don't understand why to sell all items if somebody will take over the business... unless they want to have a fresh start, even though I would keep the electronics which aren't cheap.... anyway somebody with more information/experience in administration
would en light me....
I believe its the liquidators that bought the debt, and they are now selling off the stock cheap??0 -
There was a some at 30% off earlier in week but that seemed to be in the curtain section! Nothing like it in cookware or electrical where I was looking.0

But they always had 30% or more off some curtains anyway. I got £65 curtains for £25 9 months ago.0

In Liverpool there was 20% off lowest marked price on curtains and 10% off lowest marked price on beauty and most other things. Curtains had already been reduced by quite a lot, found quite a lot of pairs for £30 or under. Hope this helps a bit!0 -
