    hello,
boy what a day yesterday. it was a beautiful service. so personal to him. his eldest son got up and did a reading. it was just straight from his heart, about how he made the best roast dinners, and how he took the mickey out of him and his friends when they were all pogoing to blink 52...
i don`t think i have ever cried so much. my favourite poem `footprints` was read out by the vicar. now the boys knew that was my favourite poem and i am wondering if they asked for it because of that...but i can`t ask them. it feels to awkward.
they were so brave, but it wasn`t until we saw his name on the list of services just outside the crem that they began to get really upset.
i lost it when i got home yesterday evening. i just can`t believe we shall never see him again. he was so gorgeous and i love him so much. he had the most gorgoeous eyes and his smile...........
his youngest son is coming to stay with us at the weekend...he gets on so well with my children i hope he can use it like a second home, some where to come when things don`t go too well.
i feel a strange felling of completeness when his boys are with me..its like he is still with me.
does the pain go away......i feel like i am hurting so much inside that i just want to curl up in a corner.
    god bless
    thanks to you all
    love

Glad you managed to get through it yesterday, it can't have been easy.

It's great that his DS is coming to stay, just shows ohw much of a family unit you had all become before and is a credt to you both now :)

The pain will lessen with time but there will be days when it knocks you sideways for no particular reason. You have shown such strength already, that and the kids will get you all through this. And don't forget we are here as well.

    HUGS

Molly, you and the family were so brave yesterday and well done.
It is such early days, so please don`t expect to much of yourself as stormy has said take "baby steps" and do what feels right for you not what you think people are expecting of you, we are all different and cope in different ways. Me personally I feel that the pain lessons but the hurt is still the same, There are many stages that you will go through, but please remember we are all here for you and each other.

    Thinking of you molly

    love and hugs

Anniestar, I am sorry things are not so good at the moment for you (looked in at os) as I was worried and I hope you are back with us soon.
You have given us all a lot of support and kind words.

  • I'm just seen this thread and felt i had to say something, but not sure how to put it in words to everyone on this threadd, Stormbay, molly etc.

I think what everyone has basically said the just of what i wanted to say.

As for the PC, i know how that feels too, there are plently of people about that would be able to have a look and it and should be able to get everything off your hard drive for you.

I hope that everyone is doing well and my heart goes out to you all. It just put everything in to perspective when you read threads like this.

    Hugs to you all x x x x x x x x
