thankyou. it still feel like i am on the outside looking in. it seem so strange
he put up a brave fight for six months. he lived for his children, they were his world.
he was always smiling whenver i went to see him. i often took the kids and would turn it into a mini party. we would take some games to play with and his room would be a total mess when we had finished.
it was a small taste of normality.
he had a wicked sense of humour and his gorgeous lop sided grin (post stroke) will say with me for always.
thankyou
xx

Hello Everyone, am on works laptop, so shhhh,
Molly, I'm so terribly sorry for your suddedn loss, it must be awful for you and all I can say is keep posting on here, everyone on here has helped me through sone VERY VERY dark times and continue to do so every day. There are wopnderful people here who help you keep strong when all you want to do is curl up and die.
there are too many people to mention by name, but beleive me they are so incredibly brave, and the fact that they have all survivied, still keeping their sense of humour, has given me so much hope and will to live, when, to be honest, there have been times I just didn't want to, I'm sure i will have more times like this too, but I couldn't let all you guys down..lol
Keep going Molly, take care, and take baby steps.
Today is 2 months since John died and I feel really sad today, a bit like you AnW'sMum, I came home from working in London, to an empty house, it's so awful, that's why i find it difficult to go out in the evenings. Good luck and loads of hugs for tomorrow, It will be hard, but remember, you have survived worse and your journed will get better (say's me still hoping it will!!!!). I'll be thinking of you.
Love and hugs to all,
Stormy

Strormy so glad to hear from you, you are such an inspiration, I have mentioned this thread to colleagues at work. My dearest workmate is having a very difficult time at the moment-her elder son who was 22 at the time died of leukemia last July. From diagnosis to death was very quick-5 months in all. He would have been 23 today if he had lived. She too is a reminder that life continues, never forgetting our loved ones ever.
Stay strong all of you.
You are all fantastic and an inspiration to all who post on here.

Hi everyone,
Hope you are all well, great to see you Stormyhope you manage to get your home pc sorted soon. Here's an extra special hug for you :grouphug: (I hadn't thought what date it was, sorry) it must seem like the blink of an eye since it happened and a lifetime in another.
Well the uniform is ready so there is no turning back! I'd just like to thank everyone for the support you have given me, it's so nice to know that people I have never met until joining this thread care what happens. At times the internet is a truly amazing place.
Take care everyone, I'll let you know tomorrow how it went
HUGSSSSSSS

Sorry I've not been on here for a while - you have been in my thoughts, however.
Stormy - I'm glad you're still around. Do keep posting because it's great to read how you're doing. One day at a time and each one will see you stronger.
Molly - I'm so sorry. Stormy is right about the people on here. Don't ever feel alone. Much love to you x:eek: What if the hokey cokey is what it's all about? :eek:Official "Bring back Mark and Lard NOW! or else (please)" Member 160 -
