    Morning All,
Off to work shortly, looking forward to speaking to my sister, she's sort of the last person to tell, a bit final I suppose, but it needs to be done. I know she'll be upset for me, but she will be a comfort too.
    Speak to you all later

Sending you a hug for when you phone your sister, Stormy.
Congrats on getting the car, it sounds super! You seem to have done all the MSE stuff too, with extras and 0% finance, well done.

Miggy, we bought a rose to go in the front garden for Ian, it is called 'remember me' and is a lovely peach pink colour.
    That sounds perfect!
Off to look it up right now - thank you so much

    Stormy,

I have just spent the last hour reading this thread and I am in tears. My heart goes out to you and your family. Is it weird that after reading your story it feels like I lost someone too.

I got married in May to my soulmate and your love for your husband made me think of how I feel about mine, and how sudden and final things could be. So I am resolved to fill every day with love and appreciation.

My thoughts are also with everyone who has lost someone and is slowly trying to figure out the grieving process. In my (somewhat limited) experience no-one grieves the same way.

  • Hello everyone, I hope you are all having a peaceful evening?

I just thought I'd mention that I stumbled across a completely different thread earlier, which really made me sad for the OP of it. Her name is Emma and although she was posting on the Freebies board, she happened to mention that not only did she recently lose her baby in the 8th month of pregnancy, but also lost her whole family in an accident before that. She now only has her husband, and has been told that she can no longer conceive either.

How terribly sad is that? :(

I did tell her about this thread and posted a link, to which she did pop in for a look, but I'm not too sure if she'll be posting on here, so I thought I'd just give her a mention in case she does.

Here's her thread if anyone wants a look, or maybe wants to give her a PM? I hope no-one thinks I'm interfering (especially Emma), but having seen how fab you guys on here are, I thought it may be worth a mention.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, champagne in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming ~ WOO HOO what a ride!

  • That's a lovely thing todo GBA, Emma should come here, the poor poor thing. Everyone one here helps me so much, You are all such a comfort to me and it sounds like Emma could do with a LOT of the same support and help.

It sort of helps to know you're not alone, if that makes sense. everyone is so wonderful and I appreciate every single post.

Just a quick hi to all. I posted a long post(!) this morning but it doesn't seem to have made it.
Never mind! Am off up now so hugs to all, sleep well and wake refreshed. Night night God bless to you all.
