Aw, thank you everyone, guess what, the bloody bed (sorry for the swearing), didn't turn up as there was a problem with the delivery dates, so it's coming tomorrow, after I stripped the bed before work, scrubbed the mattress etc and all this at 6am...............to have to put it back together tonight so I could go to bed AW well something to look forward too tomorrow.

Hi Stormy

HAPPY BIRTHDAY sorry I am so late in posting.

Hope you have had as good as day as you can without John. Sounds like it's a tough week for us both But we will survive as we have done so far and like you say it's down to sheer determination to get through and the fabulous support that is on this thread.

I still can't believe Ian is not coming back, it's all so bloody unfair. Tomorrow I shall be keeping busy, much like I have today, so that I don't end up clock watching etc By all accounts there should be a really good turn out at Ian's service, I am looking forward to seeing people again and hope that they will add some good memories to the guest book which I have set up.

I shall post more in the next few days.
