    Hi Everyone

Having a really quiet day. DS and partner over to DD, SIL and DGS for night as have never seen the boys open pressies. We will go over tomorrow for a wee while. Just phoned DGS1 to say Santa has phoned me to say he is definitely coming and dropping off pressies.

Table set, soup made. Might do vegs later but not a problem. DS brought huge amounts of smoked salmon yesterday - now in the freezer. 8 meals and 4 lunches - how OS is that for nothing.

Having neighbours in tonight and DH has sorted out the booze. The good Xmas wine away in a safe place just in case we go over the score tonight! Hope we don't!

Have a wonderful Christmas everyone. I hope I might get on here tomorrow but who knows.

RIP bun - we love you.

Have just put a huge tray of lasagne in the oven as we could not face what felt like two Sunday lunches on the trot!
Also have garlic bread to have with the lasagne.

Pressies all wrapped and turkey crown is thawing for tomorrow as is the prawn ring.

Welcome back amie and everyone have a Happy Christmas.

Big hug to those who are having a bad time.

Well, have just had 40 or should I say 60+ winks! Think Christmas taking it out of me more than I thought.

Just going to prepare dinner before friends arrive about 8.30. DGS just been on phone - wanted to check out what Santa said on the phone. He was up at 5.00 am this morning as it is only one more big sleep before Santa. DD could strangle him but she loves Christmas so will forgive him! What time tomorrow?

DS and SIL had better not have too much to drink tonight before they do the Tower of Doom and the Garage! Can't wait to see my darlings tomorrow - DGSs and DD and DS.

I will be 56 tomorrow! Where have the years gone. I still remember my 18th! Not a pretty site but had to go there at the time!

    Lots of love and hugs.

Evening all, well everything has gone so not to plan, especially as little 4 legged friend arrived. But she has brought so much more life into the house, especially now we have the 2 of them, in fact it's total chaos and I am loving it :) I didn't get everything done that I wanted to but thought, 'Oh stuff it!' I am happy. Going to do a bit more tidying and do the dogs room, puppies smell!! but that will be it, my washing machine is now officially unplugged until Boxing Day!

DPs at work and when they ask for taxis at 2/3am, he's told them get stuffed as he's going home at 10pm. Money isn't everything. First time he'll ever be home at midnight on Xmas Eve to help me play Santa.

All wrapped apart from DPs as I forgot, ooops, will do that tonight. Been to collect the meat and slow cooker is now on, cooking plan is complete so hopefully my first Xmas dinner will go ok. Got a few bargains in Somerfield as needed some bread as I forgot that, most of the things were reduced by 11am when I went that were out of date on Xmas day but they open again Boxing Day so not much there really. Still made a dent in the budget, but not long left until the end of the month/year and have a lot in. The laptop is coming with me into the kitchen tomorrow just incase I need any help with cooking.

Hope everyone has a fantastic Christmas :)
One day I might be more organised...........

Heres hoping you all have a wonderful remainder of Xmas eve. I am spending the day in bed as yesterday I was having probs moving my left arm as well as dragging both legs ( look like I've already had too much of the good stuff) 7 so couldn't control my crutches & kept ending up on the floor. Also was really tired so thought if I rest up today I will be in better control for the big day. OH is at work until 9pm & then he is planning on cooking the pork ready to go with the turkey for tomorrow.
Everything is ready I think now (but its a case of if we haven't got it now we wonn't miss it)
It's only me & OH at home for the big day, in previous years we have done the big family day for evryone but there's not many left now.
Everyone on here sounds as if they are really looking forward to enjoyning themselves.
I certainly hope everyone does have a wonderful time howevrer they spend it.
I would like to say thanks for all the help & info I have had off this site in the last year.:A
Anyway bye for now & enjoy yourselves.

You rest and take care of yourself.

Are you sure that you should not see a doctor?

    Big hug.
