Apparently he's in Japan now. Mr TM has just said "didn't think they had Christmas there" I said " course they do - all those ex-pats at least" :D

Talking of mr TM - I have to laugh. I've got him doing the cleaning (proper moving the furniture stuff:D) Anyway, he's sneezing ..... and moaning about it. Taken anti-histamine cos it may be dust related and is walking around with 2 tissues stuffed up his nose  He's trying to "impress" someone's who's had alergic rhinitis since a child, and do I act like that? :rotfl:

Ok - roastie spuds and other root veg par-boiled and coated, SC just gone on with red cabbage and will make some mash in a bit. Done my pigs in blankets and will be laying the table later. My sis rang as she was in Mr T's and I asked her to get some bits ...... she got home and had to ring me to ask me to get some "personal items" for my niece!! Hopefully it will have calmed down by 3pm when I do my "bargain blitz mine-sweep" :D

It's all quiet here (bar the sniffing) Kids are playing with their friends (who were suitably impressed at being able to track santa from the kitchen :rotfl:) SO, bacon butties for me and himself, cuppa tea then out to mum's /sister's/Tesco before home to open a BIG bottle of red.

BTW - booked a 4 day cruise in August with my sister last night. Other sis can't make it but I'm so looking forward to it. Mr TM has said he'll pay :j I expect that's my xmas pressie :D

Ok love ya and leave ya :D

Hello everyone:santa2: we had our first carol singers last night, 2 children about 8 and 5. I hope the parent was behind our tall hedge and I just couldn't see them  .

Anyway my 3yo has now decided she is a carol singer and keeps hiding behind our internal doors singing "rudolph the big nosed reindeer", "garbage we bring to you and your kingdom" and "hush, little baby do not cry, I will keep you for my mum" :snow_laug
Thinking of recording her later to play back to her when she's a teenager:rotfl:

My mum told me that our supermarkets were open 7am-1pm, insists she saw it on their door so sent DH out for last bits, only to find they didn't open till 10am. So he's been out getting some shopping and has now gone back to bed for an hour:rolleyes: . Just need to do last minute tidy up and then start preparing the veg.

Have a good Christmas everyone :j

Hi Yall, we went to see Startlight Express (on Rollerboots) yesterday at Demontfort Hall, Leicester. It was great and even though it cost £135 for us all (I had to be revived when Mrs MATH told me) it was a real nice start to the festivities. When I say Rollerboots I mean the cast we wearing them, the MATHLETTS were not freewheeling down the A6 or anything. LOL
Sorry to hear the 'star turn' and the panto was a bit of a let down TM:o

We've all trugged off to church this morning and are having the traditional Family Bun Fight at MIL's with all the Outlaws this afto/evening.

The veggies are prepped, turkey, stuffing, hams, sausage & bacon wraps are all thawing nicely atop the tumble drier in the garage away from the cats (they have a nice tin of salmon for tomorrow brekki). The Christmas pudding has just had another couple of pints of hard liquor poured into it and I've even extended and set the table so I can truely kick back and large it up (as my 11 yr old would say, he's half child, half gangster LOL)

Christmas Dinner #1 is at ours on Christmas Day with me in the apron.
Christmas Dinner #2 is at SIL's on Boxing Day with me by the drinks cabinet.
Christmas Dinner #3 is at Mum's next Thursday with me under the table.

January I shall book my self into the Rosemary Conley home for the seasonally bloated! LOL

Tonight when the MATHLETTS are abed Mrs MATH and I will open our gifts (bit of a Chez MATH tradition) and enjoy a wee dram while listening to Carols from Kings.

Whatever your plans I hope have a wonderful Christmas filled with joy, love and peace.

    MATH x

Good afternoon everyone :santa2: Just popping in before OH and I go off on a bike ride (all this extra food has to be kept off the hips somehow ).

The duck is defrosting and I have to look up how to cook it yet. We did a trade for it (HM Wine swap) and it looks like it will feed the two of us for several days.

Have a lovely Christmas everyone and I hope Santa brings you some lovely presents :xmassign:
Enjoying an MSE OS life :D

    Hi!!!!!!!!!! I am back

DS came with his 3 little ones, mind you two of them are not so little now, nice to see them, two of them live in Bedford so do not get to see them so often........

Two pressies and a lovely basket of flowers which is now sitting on the dining table...........

Just had our lunch veg prepared for supper, some of the gammon I cooked yesterday with roasties, cauli, brussels and mustard sauce, with banana and cream for afters, need to put the custard on the trifle for tomorrow.... might have a mince pie later........with a glass of sherry, must remember to leave a plate and glass out for Santa when we go to bed.............Took the smoked salmon out of the freezer for lunch with rocket salad tomorrow, have a bottle of champagne to go with it, our one little christmas treat............I have champagne tastes on fizzy water budget, one bottle a year has to be my lot!!!

I hope you all have a very happy Christmas and enjoy a fabulous day with your friends and family.
    Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.
  • All is quiet in the house of P now, everything is done and dusted -well almost. The food is looking after itself on the hob, my pressie to myself is open and being read. I popped down to Mr T's for a newspaper earlier and the shops were almost empty of people, they are all but giving away fresh turkeys and loads of stuff was reduced, I resisted the temptation to "save money" :p and left empty handed but might pop back at about 3.30 to see if they have any cheap cream as my butter stash is down to one last stick :D. Other than that nothing really to report.

I do hope each and everyone of you has the bestest of Christmas's you can possibly have, that your families are happy and a prosperous New Year follows.

("that your families are happy" BTW - I have other plans :D )

Merry Christmas to all of you
