Exactly what we use the nappy bags for. Puppy poop scooping :rotfl::rotfl: Gotta love these latest value products. The only thing I ever used to buy value was Tinned new potatoes but lately I'm finding they are doing much more useful items really cheap. :T

Hi, Does anyone look at the ingredients of some of this value stuff or is it just me ? Am I too cautious perhaps. I like the baby products even though we don't have kids and the nappy bags are great for rubbish in the car as are the wep wipes. I used to buy the tinned tomatoes for years but find if I get the brand ones on offer I don't need to add puree.

Maybe too cautious yes. They wouldn't be selling something dangerous to children/babies. Unless your child has skin allergies or eczema etc then it is fine. Bubbles up nicely and mega cheap. The bottles look awful obviously so I decant them into glass containers and pretty them up. The value chopped tomatoes are great, Never had to add puree?? I use the tins at least twice a week to chuck in with pasta (with mixed herbs/cheese etc) or to add to pizza bases for home made pizza. :T I was so snobbish before about value products but in fairness I really don't notice much difference. the only 'snobby' habit I still have is I will only buy heinz Soups :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

thanks for the thread now tried the baby shampoo and bubble bath both ok and now using as handwash.

Strawberry Jam has recieved no complaints and the value ready salted big bag of crisps for 48p are good too.

The flavoured crisps multi pack cant remember price are ok kids haven't complained but I dont think they have much flavour.

The multi pack of snacks ie onion rings, cheese puffs around 80p 10pks ish I believe, are all woofed down here

Baby yogs like petit flous have been eaten without complaint although I didn't check to compare the sugar content which I think I will do next time I'm in store.
    Be Amazing
  • The value fromage frais (pack of 6) are pretty sickly. I changed back to buying choobs for 1.00. The value tinned new potatoes are fab, I chuck them in the slow cooker with casseroles etc and used to mush them up for my baby when he was littler. Quick n easy.

the value angel delight is fab, a little on the runny side if you follow the instructions, but i go be feel and get 4 puddings worth for daughter. Strawberry jam, choccy spread, peanut butter, flour, butter, tinned toms and little yoghurts are all firm staples. Was also pleasantly surprised by the tinned spagetti at 18p a can
