Yeah, I do rinse it but its fine. Might buy a few bags next time. Tried the value sponge mix to make muffins as an experiment 44p for 2 bags, added vanilla, sultanas and mixed spice. They rose really well but taste very sweet. Ah well, ok for the kids when I've got nothing else.

I forgot, value sultanas SEL £1.05 but paid 84/5p cant remember which.

Thanks for bumping this thread - I picked up some 14p rich tea and the 40p rice today........also, if you've followed the other tes** thread you will know about the andrex on the go for 1p - my store had it at 25p, but today it was 1p ........well, i bought 7 of them.;)

Doc, I picked up some of the value 38p stuff yesterday too, looks like they have it back in stock, first time I've seen it for about 3 months.
