The value custard sachets are 9p for those who haven't managed to get the birds
Sorry no idea about how good it tastes
Bought these for 6p in my local extra the other day and OH prefers it to the Birds one. Kids are tucking into some with homemade crumble as I type and no complaints there either:heart2:Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.:heart2:0 -

Ressurecting this thread as Tesco have started messing about with the Value prices again, for a while they have all been on the up but the odd product is starting to come down... So far I've noticed:
Value rich tea biscuits: now 14p
Value mushy peas (tinned) 10p
and
Tesco value lager 4 x cans 70p!
has anyone else noticed any drops rather than increases lately?0 -
Was just going to post about this, bought a few value items this morning and nearly all were cheaper than the SEL.
Value noodles, SEL 15p - paid 11p
value rice SEL 65p - paid 40p
value squash, cant remember SEL paid 34p
value sponge mix SEL 25p - paid 22p“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0 -
I noticed the rice too, great price for a whole kilo and its great, I just find i need to rinse it a few times before cooking or it comes out too sticky.
I saw a Morrisons TV ad last night announcing their own value range so maybe Tesco will start brining their value range back down.0
