The value custard sachets are 9p for those who haven't managed to get the birds
Sorry no idea about how good it tastes

Bought these for 6p in my local extra the other day and OH prefers it to the Birds one. Kids are tucking into some with homemade crumble as I type and no complaints there either

I had a little look through the value items today and 3 new items caught my eye :

Tesco value salad cheese 250g 'A semi hard cheese for a greek style salad' 50p

Tesco value mozarella 150g, 40p Ideal for home made pizza

Tesco value rubber car mat £1.

I suspect the cheese prices will rocket soon like they normally do

  • Ressurecting this thread as Tesco have started messing about with the Value prices again, for a while they have all been on the up but the odd product is starting to come down... So far I've noticed:

Value rich tea biscuits: now 14p

    Value mushy peas (tinned) 10p

    and

    Tesco value lager 4 x cans 70p!

has anyone else noticed any drops rather than increases lately?

I noticed the rice too, great price for a whole kilo and its great, I just find i need to rinse it a few times before cooking or it comes out too sticky.

I saw a Morrisons TV ad last night announcing their own value range so maybe Tesco will start brining their value range back down.
