Well Tesco have been!! I got a 3 each of the baby value items in my delivery, the other 7 of each were substituted with Tesco own products and price matched, so a very happy bunny here, and should last my son and soon to be daughter a fair while!!! lol

Well done! It's worth ordering the Value items especially when we know they are scarce and likely to be substituted. Very savvy shopping indeed!

I did have half an idea that they would substitute anything they had run out of, and just kept my fingers crossed all day!! lol :rotfl:

Woohoo! FINALLY updated the first post. So sorry it has taken so long. We have reverted back to using Virgin whilst the 30day notice remains. Don't know how we are gonna get the Orange to work. It has been a nightmare to get the computer connected. Thanks goodness for the iPhone!

edit: maybe orange and apple don't mix...?

I threw my Jug-it in the recycling bin today. The milk comes out from under the spout and goes all over the worktop. In my opinion, it is one of the worst things ever invented! In future, if the bags of milk are on offer, I will just wash and re-use a plastic milk bottle.

I freecycled all 3 of mine to a scout group!

I am the same, if they start to do full fat in bags at a reasonable cost, its gonna go in a plastic lidded jug too!

    Thanks for the update Jumblejack.

Would just say didn't like the Value Cornflakes - but family have been eating the Value Wheat Biscuits (like wheetabix) - but I prefer Tescos proper make.

Not too keen on Value Teabags either but i do like it a bit stronger.

I agree about the cornflakes and tea. I generally get the next one up concerning own brands in these products. Love the gravy granules, syrup, mixed herbs, hot chocolate (oo, another one I need to add!), porridge oats etc though!
