Well to be truthful, even though i had a good holiday i felt a bit down when i got back. Tiredness of a long journey and general 'fed up with situation and i have to face reality' type feelings:o Some of this was to do with Mr.B hardly contributing to the holiday which  me off no end. The offspring have contributed a fair amount but wouldn't have the money to do so until this week..Mr.B just assumed as per, even though i have had a conversation with him about it- well several. So i am about £250 down on his contribution to the holiday and not only that, he hasn't got enough money to pay his half of the mortgage- so i will have to cough up for that as well.:o Really feel like getting my teeny little violin out or the big boot which says i told you so:cool: The one i use to kick myself up the arriss with every time he does this to me. Makes me wonder if it will ever change.
Luckily i had news on my pupils passing their exams today-was on holibobs when they came out and i couldn't get hold of anyone for the information until today..to say i am chuffed for them would be an understatement:D:j
So i am dusting myself off for a new term and looking for more extra work tutoring - it is turning into a profitable little sideline and if i am to make any kind of provision for the future then i will need all the help i can get. Plans have to be made and l do feel lucky that i have the money at the moment to keep myself afloat and the house, i am proud of myself for doing so it can only get better methinks.
On another personal triumph- DS's tax rebate came back after my letter to them and he is well chuffed:money: Offered me extra towards the hols to, i think Mr.B could learn a lesson from DS that's for sure.:DBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

He'll change when it is in his interests to do so. Currently he is £250 (plus the mortgage payment) up.
Be sure to point out to me the incentive for him to not do that, as I can't see it."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

I can't think of anything to say other that what i have said to myself umpteen times.:o Totally berating myself over this.
I am trying to look at the positives.
If i hadn't booked to go, i wouldn't have seen my daughter and i wanted to, so i can't regret that. I enjoyed the visits and i can't regret that either. I enjoyed spending time with all my children and he needed that as well- i can't regret that.
So i need to move forward and make a proper budget and implement the plans re bank accounts. There is one for bills now, one for savings( in my name then he can't touch it) and personal ones. He has agreed to no spends re dinners and things and has said he will stick to a personal budget. Money owed me will be paid back as he has some shares he will cash in and that can be used as a buffer- not sure when it will happen and certainly won't be this month. I am not in a position to do anything at the moment until the joint debts are cleared, that will significantly reduce a lot more outgoings and he will no longer have any excuses to fall back on.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

As the title says i have had a good old thunk/think.
I really don't know why i have pandered to him, i kept myself in the mindset about not going further into the overdraft on his account-which in a way he is holding over me( if that makes sense) as he knows it is a major bugbear of mine and so will reason that if he pays more then the overdraft increases..but at the same time he is not appreciating that lack of budgeting on his part or expecting me to stump all the time when i am already paying for the major things and overpaying debts is a major stumbling block on my psyche..So i took the bull by the horns this morning and paid half of the mortgage out of his account( it is joint and i have a card)
I have no doubt he will whinge for England, but the mortgage has to be paid and it is fair.
Other major whinge this am is that once again HR have paid me wrongly so i have had to chase it up:mad: It made me think that i really need to get things sorted out re my contract as twice in a month just won't do- between them, Inland Revenue, and Mr.B i am totally exhausted with it:eek:
Phew feels good to get that off my shoulders.
Todays jobs are just consisting of end of month budgeting, sorting out shopping which will include a lot of things for my diet, as in decent food not trash. I am dusting the dreaded shred off once more and will be upping my exercise..so if you hear a loud thud in Lancashire, that will be dropping from exhaustion..but feeling ever so virtuous:D:rotfl:
