One episode of Sharpe was filmed there ... works carpark was full of horses and cavalry officers and Sean Bean graced the scene as well!!!
Been to Helmshore before and thoroughly enjoyed it- it is my Purple Ronnie moment:D Have never been to Queens mill though- thanks.

Used it today at Bowes museum- fab day out. The Egyptian exhibition was very disappointing though, but everything else was great- a lot to take in on one visit, so we will go again. Planning lots to use with the pass and of course the National Trust one as well.
I did see the offer before SW... really good value.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Well today, a la Peter Kay's mum, i am getting the house ready for when i go away. I love to come back to a house that just requires me doing nothing but putting the kettle on when i am arrive home. Nice welcoming feeling, which requires a bit of work before i go, but is worth the effort.:D Call me mental, but that's the way it is...and i bet a lot of you are like that as well...:p
Lists more or less sorted and packing is nearly done. I am utilizing the drier as DD2 came up with a pile of washing at the last minuter as per usual:o Which meant i got behind with general washing:mad: Just about finished now and should be able to get Kitchen sorted by dinner time at the latest.
Bills have been paid so i don't come back to nasty surprises..i hope.
So, Au Revoir for now folks i am wending my merry way down the M6, M5 Car park:D
Behave whilst i am away:p Bob xBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
