I am looking forward to it Taxi- peace and quiet - it is so relaxing on the site and it is a bit like centre parks without the hefty price tag.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Could be worse, could be better!! Don't have much time to think about it what with a gosling [STRIKE]ruling my life[/STRIKE] keeping me busy. Wish I was a bit better off money wise. Getting there slowling but surely.
Need to do a round up of my debt total as I've let that slip and I know its less than it was but not sure how much less iyswim.
Hope you are ok and now I'm back on line more regularly now I'll be able to [STRIKE]keep tabs[/STRIKE] stay up to date with your shenanigans! :rotfl:** Proud to be dealing with my debts **LBM - Jan 2009 _pale_ : £24,802.21 :eek:February 2010 :silenced: : £18,078.47 (not including OD)July 2010= £16,819.34 (not including OD)

Well i normally don't like shopping on Sunday's but decided that i would today as i have T*sco vouchers to swap.
So i have swapped some of them and so far got £20 of the finest range voucher, to take on hols with us better to spend at a T*sco in Cornwall. :money:
Lots of yellow stickers today- best one being a bag of apples for 20p and they were quickly made up into a very nice apple crumble.:money: A bag of whoopsied potatoes, or should i say yellow sticker=made hm wedges, alongside the rest of the gammon i had put in slow cooker yesterday- bargainous at £2 made two delicious meals and sandwiches for later on.
Baps on sale at 20p for 6 so i bought 5 of those ready to make sandwiches to take with us on our travel and i also bought another gammon joint to slow cook for the journey. It works out far cheaper than buying ready cooked and sliced and doesn't have that shiny look either.:D Finest tomatoes were reduced in price to 20p which will be eaten tomorrow.
So i rather enjoyed the Sunday shop.
Also been busy in the garden today -shaped two trees and weeded, will mow the lawn tomorrow. All in all a very productive day.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

A little bit i didn't realise - i had quite a lot of Nectar points on my card, been collecting them but never really used them. Took them along to Sainsbury's and used them to pay for some meat offers they had on:money: So now i have a freezer full and the cost to me was about £5.:money: I also received double points for filling up with petrol- petrol not so good, but hey it all mounts up.
Further savings to be had- we invested in a National Art pass card- days out on top of the ones we have with National trust. Going to meet parent in laws at Bowes museum, so that is one of the free days. Cornwall- lots of places to use it, Pendennis castle, Maritime museum, reduced entry at the Tate gallery, so i think i will be getting lots of use out of this one..bargainous. Saves so much on entry fees and we can also park at beaches for free as well as the stately homes. I am really looking forward to it now.:D:D
Been busy in the garden again moving the shed:eek: Which has rotted in places, so where mud has got in we have shifted it and re sorted it out..it is on its last legs but may last another year or so.:o
Made a lovely HM curry for tea:money: So we are nicely full and happy little souls at the moment.

Holiday sounds just like what you need.
I think i am going to pack a lot in- but also i am looking forward to using the tickets afterwards, i love Art galleries and used to go a lot on School trips- but not the same as taking my time without a lot of children needing the toilet or losing money:cool::rotfl:
Best one was a visit to a Helmshore textile mill-we were making felt and one child dropped their purse in the dye:o Muggins here had to get it out and even with gloves on it came over the top. My arm was purple, but so was their money:rotfl: The children nick named me purple Ronnie:rotfl:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
