Been lurking Bob, have subscribed. I miss the old days before the diaries were separated off when everyone I "knew" was easily findable on the DFW main page and helping out newbies. I log on far less often as a result.

but it's great to have found your diary, with so many posts from old friends.

I must admit Verbatim, i spend a lot more time on here and feel i should be helping more newbies:o I think this was one of the problems re diaries when it was first mentioned. But this board is quite big as well..
There are lots of lovely folk still around and posting. I do miss MIZMIR though:o

  • Well the title says it all really- after thinking i had finally sorted my tax affairs out- it seems that they have gone and mucked it up again. They sent out the wrong PAYE code notice ( my old one) after they sent the correct one out in mid July...it seems that after i sent my paperwork in ( as requested) then the person mistakenly reversed it all again...:o

Another phone call has sorted it, but i don't know where i stand now and i have been told i still have a rebate owing- but they didn't say how much...oh well what will be will be..and i ain't holding my breath.

Spends today include a small grocery shop for £20.
