    I like it Mark and the title makes me smile! I particularly like the rent a roof bit :) KC may well be very interested to.

    Edit to say i do agree with the principles of it all. What sort of links are you thinking of putting on there? Will it be linked to the places which provide Solar panels? Costs etc?

    Thanks Bob

    Was thinking of putting some general google ads (which do scan your site and provide relevant) possibly some amazon or ebay links to products I have found useful, and possibly will look for affiliate links to big providers (but I have to be careful as there are some ripoff merchants out there and I want to be a little ethical here :-)

    I was also going to built up the detailed content as I find time and learn. at the moment its a bit motherhood and apple pie !!

    I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
    Drinking milk shakes, cold and long

    Yes, i can see how that will work now and the affiliate links will help. I am not very savvy with websites, but have seen how some blogs are linked to certain things and that can be very useful as well- i would certainly expand your blog which may double the amount of traffic. If they both tie in with your website and a separate blog( try blogger on google, but keep your blog on there as well) then i think you will certainly be onto a winner..sorry does that make sense to you?

    I read a lot of blogs, so you can link these with frugal and green blogs, facebook etc. I have seen some very nice ones and it could bring you a separate income stream.

    Hmm ponders a turnip blog:cool::rotfl:
