  • Bobster well done on being assertive yay to moneysaving. I buy Aldi bread now. I dont know if it is that nice. I agree it is really hard.

Now off to clear out garage to make room for freezer. Weather glorious. Yay.

Bobster can you think of a cunning plan so i can quit my job????

Well we make a lot of bread SW with t' breadmaker- if i buy i usually buy Warburtons at 2 for £1.50 in Farmfoods:D I fill the freezer up with both. I just picked one of theirs up to taste and while i normally like a lot of Aldi products i can't say i took to their own brand bread....even the ducks would cringe:eek::rotfl::rotfl:

I am thinking of cunning plans as we speak..they involve the lottery and Johnny Depp:drool::dance: Either would be most welcome:D:rotfl:

Oh dear SW, Mr 3Dogs will not be pleased with you  I thought he would have taught you all about Mackems - they come from Sunderland or, latterly, support Sunderland Football Club - the name comes from the rivalry between the Tyne and the Wear shipyards oiriginally - Sunderland mack 'em (make them) and Newcastle take 'em (take them)

Mr.B is a Newcastle fan as he comes from oop there- well Durham:D I may just print this off to taunt him:D:rotfl:

But it's not actually a trap - Bob has turned it into a Morton's Fork...

wow that is alot of money to be having as a overpayment pot. I am guessing once the joint overdraft is paid off that is the last debt that you jointly have? Will Mr Bob be on his own then moneywise at least?

Well that is the dilemma Z- a choice between two evils:D

Hmm must remember to do that to Mr.B:rotfl::rotfl:Although he would say that being married to me is already that very same choice at times..

It is one of them Chev, although it is in both names he has run it up (but i can understand why it has run up) and he just hasn't been able to clear it. It will have to go as i hate the thought of paying useless overdraft charges... and it is in my name as well!

I also keep conveniently forgetting the one attached to the mortgage:o If i overpay that, then it also brings the mortgage total down and that will effectively kill two birds with one stone.

Money wise then i am not sure-it is a bit of a dilemma which i will face when i come to it. My thinking is at this stage he may well be better doing full and final settlements, it is the only way he can clear debts in the shorter term. Also he has more than paid the debt with interest several times over:cool: So i am going to suggest he starts a fund. I think it is the most sensible way forward and will give him a clean start on many things.

He is also quite depressed and overtired with a lot of things which are happening at work and with his family at the moment- a lot of eggshell moments especially with his mother. I am trying to be more proactive and pointing out positive approaches to his debt. It doesn't always work as it is a tetchy subject with both of us and i am trying to pick my moments. Which ain't easy when he falls asleep a lot at nights.

I am hoping he will see how things are snowballing forwards now and that will act as an incentive. I am probably explaining myself badly really- sometimes this place is the only outlet i have to get my feelings out. No one knows in our real life except for DS and DD as they live with us and have seen what has gone on. It is hard work when everyone asks where are you going on holiday? Why aren't you doing this? When are you going to move? -Usually his mother:cool: Sometimes i wish i could tell everyone and not hide behind a facade.:o
