Mornin' - Have bin up a couple of hours and the only damage from last night is that I have put my best glasses (of the reading variety not drinking) somewhere very safe!!!
Z - Sorry, yes I was a wuss, I felt that you would run rings around me in my cider/choc fulled state, so I fell asleep on the sofa instead. I am clearing the porch where the 'drink cellar' is established and will be transferring to the shed so it can mature further for Christmas!0 -

Z - No aminals were involved in the losing of my specs and o'ther 'cos you write so eloquently (maybe one day I will learn to quote
)
I still re-read my posts to check for anything that could possibly be mis-interpreted ... though it would be more fun sometimes if I just switched off the brain->mouth filter0 -

Why not? It's not like you're going to remember anything you said here in 10 years time."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Z - Increasingly I find myself with a goldfish brain ('ooh nice rock' 30 secs passes 'ooh nice rock'), so I can be very confident that I will not remember in 10 years time!!!
I'm planning a trip to Mackamland, if I can find someone with a bed to spare on GNR eve. If I fail methinks I shall be joining the YHA partaking in one of their fine establishments further north. Travel0dge want £115, so that is not an option...
They also appear to be warming to 'culture' as there is the 1st Sunderland folk festival on the bank hol weekend ... (OK maybe not culture per se, but better than Roy 'Chubby' Brown anyways0 -

Exactly - so why worry?NorthernLas wrote: »They also appear to be warming to 'culture' as there is the 1st Sunderland folk festival on the bank hol weekend ... (OK maybe not culture per se, but better than Roy 'Chubby' Brown anyways
I don't know about that...I looked up a postcode in Sunderland the other day, the first entry in google after the map was about whippets...

Hopefully it will let me write as i kept getting chucked off before and losing connection:o I am not ignoring you all just having difficulty with t'net.
It is a massive amount and combined with my car loan payment-which also no longer exists will be over £440+ To clear off some things.:D A figure worth celebrating:beer::j
Mr.B still has a large overdraft though and that is the one in joint names:o So that will be first target with this amount(saves over £40 in overdraft interest as well:mad:) plus the mortgage is on repayment again as of this month it was about time it went back to that. So that will take up the amount for the next three or four months! Extra tuition will also be chucked at joint debt and overpaying mortgage- i just want to get rid of it and plan a life. So that is my tentative plan.:DBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
