  • Well 'tis Monday morning and i feel rather bleurrgh this am. Spent an awful night hardly sleeping or sleeping poorly when i did, partly due to having to give up and sleep on couch yet again as Mr.B fights for supremacy against the cats:eek: ( it really is a debate who was making the most noise last night) His snores felt like they were coming through my skull- just glad there is no tutees today or i would be totally brain dead.

Bit disappointed with my easyyo yoghurt as it has not set:o And i splashed out on a lemon yoghurt mix especially for DD2 as it is her favourite. I will have to think of something to do with it.

Making a loaf in a bit as we resorted to Aldi cheapo bread when i found none in freezer:eek: Dear me, cardboard and rough as a badger's arriss come to mind...never again :rotfl:

Went to the garden centre yesterday and bought a sweet pepper plant which was reduced. It is rather nice, already with a few peppers on it:D Mine failed so looking forward to these ones. On the way to the garden centre, the petrol light came on...Mr.B looked at me to pay and i just sat there..normally i would but as he has been using the car, i didn't:cool: He pointed out he had put petrol in the other day- i said i put it in all the time and he uses it, so i wasn't paying..He put about £20 in the same as last time...I have told him if he wants use of the car he has to pay his fair share from now on, which includes tax and insurance. I don't think it is unreasonable- and i only mention it because he was lecturing DS about paying towards the car if he wanted lifts or drive it in the future..i thought Kettle Pot/Black and he should have a taste of his own medicine.

    So that was my weekend.:D

Have a good Monday. Bob x

I'm planning a trip to Mackamland, if I can find someone with a bed to spare on GNR eve. If I fail methinks I shall be joining the YHA partaking in one of their fine establishments further north. Travel0dge want £115, so that is not an option...

Had you thought of the couch surfing website? It isn't always a couch either, rooms with real beds are often on offer and the age range is pretty wide too.

Yup up north in and around the glorious city of Sunderland! Close enough to get to Newcastle on the Metro on a Sunday for the Great North Run.

Thanks I had forgotten about couch surfing and am investigating whether uni still lets out student rooms close to the start of term (looks promising and only £25 a night)

Oh dear SW, Mr 3Dogs will not be pleased with you  I thought he would have taught you all about Mackems - they come from Sunderland or, latterly, support Sunderland Football Club - the name comes from the rivalry between the Tyne and the Wear shipyards oiriginally - Sunderland mack 'em (make them) and Newcastle take 'em (take them)

So what were you up to in the showers that needed so much privacy?
