Yes it's not pleasant but cat owners fight an ongoing battle if they have a persistently stubborn moggie. If anything, cat-owners are MORE likely to have superclean work-surfaces if they can't guarantee the cat hasn't been up there when they're out.

I totally agree! i am always cleaning my work-surfaces as i have 3 cats, 2 of which jump up, the other 1 is too fat so cant get up there lol. I never prepare food or even make a drink before wiping the whole area down and often get through a kitchen roll a day!! xxxxxxxxxx

one of my cats actually sleeps on top of the kitchen wall cupboards!! She jumps on the worktops, then jumps up to the fridge and then up on to the wall cupboards! Heaven knows why she likes sleeping up there! There are about 11ft from the ground!

LOL Mine does the same. I think it's the heat that makes it cosy up there.

has anyone got any ideas of a cheap way to line my kittens litter tray?

i tried using a carrier bag but it wasnt long enough so i put a bag on each end but the kitten played with the bags and i ended up with litter and poo all over the floor!!!

also what do you find is the best value litter to buy??

another thing is there a cheaper alternative of buying kitten food other than whiskas kitten food or the other major brands??

and one more final question how on earth can i get my german shephard to accept the kitten. he whimpers and creates whenever he sees the kitten as ive kept them apart. ive been told to let them sniff each other whilst the dog is being held and the kitten is on a lap but im too scared!!!!!
  • eughhh you CUDDLE him after hes walked in all that poo and rolled in all that grass!!! lol x

How about grease proof paper

How about getting a covered litter tray to stop any mess on your floor

I find Tescos value litter good.

Any kitten food is good, the branded names are a waste of money, you only pay more for the fancy packaging
