Hope everyone is managing to get everything done that they want. Had an appt at GP's at 8.30am, then had to go to physio at a hospital about 20 miles away. Fortunately the roads were quiet as OH had to leave home by 11.30 as he is a t work till 9pm.:(
Went out shopping yesterday after the district nurse had been for my one & only visit to the shops as it is so difficult to get the wheelcahir around in the crowds. As it was a young lad managed to fall over me as he turned round without looking & ended up on my lap:eek:
It is really cold here at the present & everywhere lokks like a winter wonderland ( nice to look out of the window at but not be out in!!!!!)
Excuse all the typos I have'nt sotred out but brain & fingers are not connected at all today.

hope the young lad was old enough and handsome enough for that to have been a pleasurable experience:rotfl:
still feel carp, although I have managed to get another washload done.
Think it's just going to have to be microwaved jacket potatoes with beans and cheese for tea  Do you know, when I was in Mr T's the other day, I noticed that you can buy a "ready meal" of jacket potatoes with the cheese already on top that you just bung in the microwave... at £2.50 for 2  how lazy/stupid must some people be to need the topping put on their potatoes by someone else?!?!?!0 -
Afternoon all - Hope we are well
Welcome midlandsfairy always room 4 another
Well done snoozer for your weight loss, Ive cut down a great deal, and since starting my new job, I have lost a couple of lb's. Just wish i was motivated more to lose more - keep up the good work.
DLB chuck the other turkey over the fence, and I'll have it - lol. Let us know how you get on with visit to MIL.
Gingin I work for a car dealership, if the car is under warranty, they should stand the bill. Take no nonsense from them. Hope you get it sorted.
Just having a quick flick thru people's posts, so I do apologise if Ive missed anyone inparticular.
I finished work. Nipped into town to the council to sort this court business out, they are sending someone out to me soon for a visit, and in the meantime, Ive been given a form to fill in, income/outgings etc. Apparently I now owe them £62. I can live with that, but still not happ ref the court costs..Oh well - such as life
Nipped into Primark, got DS some jeans, £2,50 reduced, so got him 2 pairs.
Saw my dad on the way back to the car. He was all dressed up, on his way to meet "the lads" for a Xmas drink, I laughed and said you're not 21 again.
OH has been so apologetic today, he totally regrets waking me this morning, said he was half asleep, and by the time he walked to work, he was feeling much better. Looks like dinner on him tonight them - lets see how sorry he actually is - lol.
Best go and fetch him from work, he's just text to say he can finish 1/2hr early.
Catch you later - Take care & love as usualHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure0 -
Hello hello hello...:hello:
Done the last of my shopping today and also did a bit of housework - not much though, as the main stuff will be done tomorrow.
Been a good OSer today, shopping around and getting some stuff at reduced prices.
Also, I've joined Pigsback and now I'm just playing around to get the hang of it - got 150 points already :j
It's very cold here tonight, but I don't need the heating on at full steam, what with the double glazing and my nice fleecy dressing gown.
Have a good evening everyone!Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0 -
Did the vacuuming, washing and ironing. Cleaned the kitchen, after our early Christmas dinner, going away on Sunday (weather permitting).
Dealt with the bank, can't put money in online.
Taking it easy tonight. Still got beauty jobs and packing to do tomorrow. OH is doing the bathroomsAn average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

Evening everyone,
Well, I have to say that despite my advance planning, I still had to do a lot of last minute Christms shopping. Still, all done now - next year, eh! Just gotta wrap it all. Had some lovely compliments from people today - must be the festive spirit :rotfl:
All the shops are starting their sales now! most of them have cleared out their Christmas stock already, so it really was a mad dash to get things.
Took the cover off out mattress yesterday to discover that the memory foam is all torn at the top! We only got it six months ago  - have emailed the guy - apparently its got a 12 year guarantee, but I bought it off Ebay, so we'll see what happens.
Rest of this evening will be spent wrapping presents, finishing off the cleaning/tidying and packing up the car ready to leave tomorrow. Just think, in 3 days it'll all be over (but then the madness of the sales starts!)
Have a good one xWe must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0 -
Hi all back from gretna/glasgow, had a great time at our hotel, wish it was closer to us though:D had a lovely dinner in the restaurant, lo was really unwell though, he must have eaten something before that didnt agree with him, all through the dinner he touched nothing and was very quiet unlike him, filled his nappy up a lot was nasty, yuck! he seems better now he is home though.
Shopping was a disaster, have never neen to a big shopping centre before, went to braehead in glasgow, went to lush, got loads of goodies:D ds1 chose a bubble bar for himself:D
Then bought the kids a nintendo ds with games, they will love it:j
Ds1 then complained of heat, looked unwell so had to leave as kids were not enjoying themselves, lo was screaming so dh went to car with him! lo hates shopping!
So tried to find way out, and went out the wrong way and ended up in another carpark that i had no idea where i was! so went back in and finally found the way back to car with ds1's help! :rotfl: so have to finish shopping tomorrow and dh is planning on going to tesco at 1am tonight:rotfl: is he mad after driving for hours:rotfl:
Os day tomorrow and sort xmas stuff
Hugs

Good evening everyone!! Not been on much at all of late. Combination of events, including this site chucking me off loads yesterday!!! And my wireless connection was playing up. Ok I dropped my laptop and the wireless thingy that plugs in the side got all bent up, but hey, did it have to stop working properly?:rotfl: :rotfl: Anyway picked up a new one today:D
Shopping is almost all done, just one present (DH:eek: ) to try and think of, then buy tomorrow!:o And only milk to buy foodwise. Other than that just miles and miles of driving, delivering presents!! Normally I don't mind, but with all this foul foggy weather, I wish my friends didn't all live in opposite directions!:rotfl: :rotfl:
Still got a fair bit of wrapping to do, it's being done on a needs must basis at the moment. Every year I swear I'll wrap as soon as I buy and every year I don't. Mind you the buying was so behind I wouldn't have been much further forward:o
I'm sitting here rather too full of bacon, onion and potato bake. I do love it, but find it very filling:rolleyes: I shall need to have a little surf around, while it "goes down". Well that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it:cool:
In case I don't get to post again I'd like to wish everyone a Happy Christmas!
Oh and AussieLass, he may get to you first, but he's saving the best 'till last!:DAnd I've been a VERY good girl this year:D
( At least that's what I've told him:rotfl: )
You never get a second chance to make a first impression.0 -
Evening all,. what a day, kids last day at school, last minute present dash and shopping nightmare!!!
Got the last presents I ended up needing. Braved the food shopping so just have to collect meat from farm shop which I pre ordered thankfully as people were arguing over meat in Tescos.
Do have to go there tomorrow to opticians as sons glasses have arrived but fingers crossed the traffic won't be as bad as it was today.
Crazy as it seems I may end up with a 2 month old puppy at Christmas, friend of mine has took her in to rescue her but can't keep her. So silly me has volunteered! Will know tomorrow if I am, then will need to mad dash to pet shop if she is coming here as she will come with nothing. Can't bare to see her homeless for Christmas.
Anyway, I have stacks to do tonight, kids having snack and then hopefully going to bed. Loads of gifts to wrap and make sure I can find everyones presents. DP at work, Black Friday being the busiest day of the year apart from New Years Eve for taxi drivers and he's been on the phone about 10 times already. One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
MIL loved her present!! I am so shocked!!!
Actually really enjoyed our visit to them tonight, she made us pizza and garlic bread, gave the kids loads of presents and me and dh another present each, as they had already bought us the slow cooker last jan!!
And i came away with a cooker top ss steamer and frying pan she no longer wanted!!
Just about to settle down and watch the blues brothers, iv never seen it and dh always going on about how good it is.
2nd turkey in freezer for new year, have had a fight with the other one trying to fit it in the fridge, IT IS HUGE!!!.
DH came home with tin of quality streets, 4 cans of beer and 2 bottles of ale, not a bad xmas bonus!!
Have a good evening all,
Donna
