Morning everyone
lots too do today
dh and I have just had a row as he has just given me a whole list of jobs he needs me to do as well
I still haven't had the time to wrap anything yet and it's getting harder to try and find the right moment so the kid's won't be curious I will be sitting doing it christmas eve at this rate
not sure what jobs I'm going to get done here today as I can see me being out most of the morning

Mr P is about to start his Christmas shutdown, and still I am up at 6-30 all clean and ready for the dentists at 9am, the trip into Nottingham at this time will be absolutely murder.
I went to Mr T's last night - never again, the peeps were like locusts stripping the shelves bare and paying obscene amounts of money for the privelige too! I am so happy that I'm "Not doing Crimble" this year as No2 son is doing the food and all I have to do is take my share of the meal with me (Lucky me has the soup and some of the veg this time areound)
I was informed a couple of days ago that I have a promotion at work and start a new position in the new year - So it's Yipee......... More money to stash away and much less driving to do, but the hours are still a bit daft. All that is left now is to turn all the lights off, draw the curtains and hide incase any of my mad rellies decide to drop in - Oh and fill up the Procster so I can get further away if needed.

morning all just off to de ice the car 2 older ones to school then i will be shopping for the last few bits yesterday cleaned the cooker and 2 cupboards
so not too much to do here will save the rest for sun and do a big clean then

Woke up early so am on here with a pot of tea.

Dishwasher is whirring and am going to pick up a prescription later this morning.
Freezing fog again and will have to have washing draped on radiators again.

Making cauli cheese for me and DH for tea and maybe sweet potato cakes for DDs.

Still have wrapping to do and am dithering about what to put in stockings for Dds so it is "even" if you know what I mean.

Starting to sneeze but I will not catch a cold for Christmas!

Not sure if this will post, as its gone 8, and i know the forum is due to go down at any moment!!!!
Ive had a little ie in, which is great, and today is my last day at work before Christmas!!!!HURRAH!!!!
DS is still at his dads, but should be home before 6, when we are going around a friends house for a little party, as her step daughter is going to be 8 on xmas eve, so that should be fun.
Right, off to finish my cuppa, will be back when the maintenance has finished!!!!

Hello all, don't normally venture here , but you all seem so friendly! Hubby has gone off to his last day at work and then a night out so won't see him till whenever he can get a taxi home! Got up nice and early though as I still have lots to do. About to make myself a cup of coffee, and then need to wrap a few presents and put washing away upstarirs. Got a friend calling at 11 and then we are off to another friends at 4 for tea, so hoping to get lots done in between. Got 4 more for boxing Day than I thought so I might have to brave the shops but I really don't want to!

Today is our visitig day, going round the family and taking their presents. Why is it non of them come to us, always left for us to do it....ahh well, il let them off seen as its christmas

Morning All - hope we are well

Just de-frosted the car, then my ex pulled up to fetch the kids, I made him wait til I finished. Just had to cancel the babysitter, as he never told me what time he was fetching them. Urgh!!!!

Work in a bit, once I fed & watered bunny. Then will try and get into the council to sort out this court thingy.

OH woke me up this morning. Complaining his tooth hurts still, and he feels sick & dizzy. Yeah and? What did he want me to do? I offered for him to take my car to work, and I'll get a taxi, incase he ends up coming home early. I gave him the number to NHS direct to call for an emergency dentist appt. He got a strop on and said he'll walk! He sent a text to apologise for waking me up. Fair enough - but what could I have done?

Anyway, best be off, Take care and love as usual xxx

Morning all.

Been awake since 2am with pain in my knee, hate this weather plays havoc with my knee joint.
Just had breakie, now need to start packing as we leave here at 1pm to go to Centre Parcs for xmas :j . Can't wait, really need this break after a bit of a crappy year, what with my nan dying and my health, so am going to make the most of it.

I have an aqua aerobics session booked for xmas eve at 7.45am :eek: didnt realise it was so early!!!!!!

Just hope there will be enough room in the car for 3 of us, bags, shopping, cool boxes, coats and boots plus 3 bikes on the back :rotfl:

Will also strip the beds and run the hoover round before we go ,so it is nice and tidy for when we get back.

Hi all,

Not much happening here today, I have got two pairs of curtains to shorten and put up before friends come round this aft so I will have a busy morning.

I dont have much to do before christmas so am planning a relaxing day (after making sure the house is spotless and doing curtains:rotfl: :rotfl: ) before going off to work tonight. Only two more days left at work until my chrsitmas can start properly.
