Jpet how horrible and at christmas too:(
Can you not tell the police that he is harrassing you?
I wouldnt worry about his welfare at all ,he obviously is not worried about the effect all this is having on his own children.
Why would he imagine that you would want to get back together with him after that?
Remember your 3 year old doesn't see the big picture yet regarding dads behaviour whilst the older children do.

    Hello J

Just read your thread, and dont have any practical advice. I just wanted to send you and your children a great big :grouphug:

It sounds like you have a supportive family and friends. As a previous poster has said, dont worry about his health or welfare. You and your kids are what matters.

Good luck. I hope your situation improves very soon.

  • Sorry to hear all this jpet, I think you should press charges, at least if there is something on file against him, he will be known to the police officailly rather than nothing being marked up against him.
Report the car stolen, the police will be able to question him about it then, he's probably banked on you keeping quiet.
    Sending you hugs!
  • Wondering how you are Jet...? Hope you come back and post soon.

About the pressing charges, I appreciate you saying you don't want to for fear of what he will do but the thing is, if you don't he will still be monstrous. So you are stuck between a rock and a hard place.

Pressing charges will help the overall situation in the long run. If you don't it kind of sends a message that he has a green light to continue to bully and harass you.

    Hoping you are well hon.

    LA xx

    Hi,

Christmas was OK - the kids really enjoyed it which is the main thing. My Dad took me home on Wed because the insurance surveyor was coming but insisted on going to speak to the police first. My Dad went to his Mums house with the police and found my car out the back so the police called for back up and arrested him. So I've got my car back!! - However, they are charging him with anything because it's my word against his!!!!!

The insurance company can't fix the door until the 10th Jan but I've found someone who should hopefully be able to do it on 5th (insurance said they will pay coz quotes cheaper than what they were quoted). So my plan now is to stay at parents until next Tues, then go and stay with a friend until doors fixed so that kids don't miss any more school. Then once my door's fixed I'm going to move back to my house and be strong.

That's the plan anyway although I am aware that if he won't bu**er off then I might have to abandon ship.

Thanks to everyone for their support - I will keep you updated.

    Luv Jxxx

PS I've changed my username because the 'p' represented his name and I certainly don't want to be reminded of him when I'm on my fav. w/site!!
