And it isn't a seed.. it is an egg.. like a chicken lays
Plants have seeds, animals and people have eggs.. some grow outside and some inside..
That's what the willy/sperm book said....

everyone's a bit sort of hairy in it, a bit like those bad old pornos from the 70's, but it's a great book. Ours is always available on the shelf.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -

I don't really remember not knowing where babies come from. Maybe the fact that my little brother came along when I was a curious talkative two a half year old helped!
Sex was called a 'special cuddle' while I was very young, but none of this stork, or Tesco's rubbish! Little children will accept pretty much anything as normal, the idea of a baby growing in a tummy from mummy's egg and daddy's seed makes just as much sense as the idea of caterpillars turning into butterflies or birds being able to fly even though toddlers can't.0 -

I often call my little gentlemen my seed. I call them other things as well.
Like "little gentlemen" for example.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -

I think seed is fine at first, its easier to understand than introducing a new word (sperm) at the same time as a new concept!
After ell, our 'eggs' are actually called ova, from the latin, but we use the translation!0 -

I went with the Daddy seed and Mummy egg grow together in Mummy's tummy explanation when my son's half sister was being 'grown'. He was nearly 5 at the time and happy with that, never actually mentioned it again. Now I'm pregnant, he hasn't really asked any more, but we had a very short chat the other week when he reminded me that babies are made from a bit from a Daddy and a bit from a Mummy, and just wanted to check it worked the same way with me and my bf as it had with his dad and his gf! I expanded slightly to say that the Daddy seeds are stored in boys' balls (which is just what we call them!) and the Mummy eggs come from somewhere near the tummy inside. He's still not asked how they get together!Little lady arrived 13/12/110
