Thanks for that. :) For the last two months I've been waiting for DD to come out and then paying the extra.

Have you also thought about putting the DD at a set amount rather than the minimum so that you can PAD throughout the month? :)

Or PADing and then transferring over the difference when the DD comes out as less? :)

It's a pain isn't it, I used to have the same problem with my Lloyds CC

My question is to those with loans (not credit cards)...how do you apply padding? Do you put money into a pot and them pay towards the loan every month or once a year? I haven't rung them yet but are lenders generally ok with small regular top-up payments?

I put my PADs into a pot and at the end of the month I pay the change into the bank and write a cheque to the loan. My lender was fine with that. I think some people are able to do a bank transfer but up until about a month ago I wasn't able to do that so the cheques worked for me :)

£1 for me today please FF.

£10 from me today please Flyin' towards various savings ~ would normally empty whats left in the various budget pots today as get paid tomorrow however as it's that ' most wonderful time of the year' {yeah right :o} approaching, have decided to leave the spare in there to cover additional expenses if they arise, am at a wedding next weekend, so the entertainment budget and the petrol fund could both potentially take a bit of a hit

Hiya. I'm not deserting the thread but have had vet bills and a massive quote for car repairs so will hopefully join in again in December.

Well done to everyone who's still padding xx
