An eventful night for me... *GROSS POST ALERT*
got to bed at 12 after managing to wake MrS on the sofa, only to be woken at 2am with him telling me his throat was bleeding Cue lots of bright red blood all over the bathroom and a call to 999... got home at 6.30 this morning after they stopped the bleeding and got his stats more or less to normal. Will be going to see him in half an hour but he can't come home today... Bless him, he thought he was going to die as he was also vomiting blood from where he had swallowed it. His mum might be coming down but she wants to take him back on the train on Sunday as she is also main carer for his gran. While I understand that is the best option (except being on the train part for him) I can't bear that he will be so far away from me while so ill. I can tell I'm tired as I'm close to tears againI've rung work and I can take tomorrow and saturday as dependency days as there won't be anyone else to get him home etc but I don't want to go back until he is better!
Anyway, sorry for the gross-ness! No pad for me today as I'm skinto until payday next wednesday!Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16

If its any comfort Psycho, I also had something similar. I had my tonsils out when I was 21 and they had a real problem getting them out. I was very sick with blood too (all over the nurses shoes - oops :rotfl:). I was kept in hospital a little bit longer, only a day I think, and given meds to recover. I also had a huge golf ball sized swelling at the back of my throat, so that is probably why I got meds. Anyhoo, I am sure he will be fine. You both got a scare no doubt. His mum just being a mum. I would be the same if it was my son.
Be kind to yourself.

Thanks everyone, just got back from the hospital... he is ok, just panicking now about sleeping tonight in case it happens again. I understand his mum is worried but I personally wouldn't want him taking the risk of being on the train with all the germs around... although the surgeon has said it would be ok, I know that he won't want to go through that again for anything in the world.
know he will be ok... he was more swollen yesterday but it's gone down loads today so I reckon it's cleared a whole load of stuff out... eurgh it makes me feel sick just thinking about it!
Hope all is well with everyone else, or huge hugs to those who need them xBecame Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16
