yep susie-sue all from the collection but there was LOAD's of stuff my youngest has gone up 3 clothing sizes and shoe sizes in a year so a lot of it was from that. I've also lost almost 3 stone this year so virtually all of my old wardrobe was included too.

Having a bit of a problem logging into online banking today however today's PAD will be £10.22 to MBNA
    Grocery Challenge Sept 2021 £95.40/£500

I pay £100 a month for gas and electric, gas ch.hence why as we are speaking dd2 is moaning at how cold she is and is sat with her dressing gown on over her clothes:eek:

*sitting here with dressing gown on over clothes too :D *

Our figure is probably lower as we don't have CH (well, we do but don't use it (oil fired, see my previous moan about cost to refill!) So we drag 2 electric panel heaters around the house and use as needed. We get up extra early to have showers when E7 meter is still on (even make the kids get up early to use the E7 coz I'm mean (so my teenagers tell me :p)

The clothing and book collection man came today so and extra bumper PAD of £24.25 to MBNA.:D

I also won £20 on a £2 scratch card:T. This is something i very rarely buy, probably 2-3 cards a year and don't play the lottery, but today it just seemed right. I looked at the display on the counter and one of them really stood out, i don't know why and it's sounds a bit freaky but I knew i had to get one.

Spooky! Well worth listening to your intuition there!

We don't have a clothing and book man, I've not heard of them before. Wish we had one round our way.

PAD today of £5.00 to Tesco cc. I wanted to pay it to Halifax as they have the (much) higher interest rate but it seems that as I made a payment to them yesterday - pending to go out of my account on Monday morning - they won't let me make another payment:cool: So Tesco will get my PAD today.

I think it's all relative retired, everyones different and I know that these temperature settings are recommended by Age UK also ~ however I am youngish (mmmmm a bit less than -ish actually :o), enjoy good health and am out at work for much of the day(s) so figure I can afford to operate at a cooler temp for now. Also it's not been that cold yet where I live and that obviously makes a big difference

Anyways ~ PaD of £6.26 from me today please skaps towards savings pots

I don't work so have the heating on a lot...but I'm fortunate that I live in the high rise so often am heated from down below...

Also I find when I'm tired I feel more cold...nothing like a bath to warm you up though :)

And has anyone tried fleecy sleeping bag liners in bed? they are about £20-30 from the camping store (or make your own out of a £5 blanket) and well worth it...find it fab for my anxiety too :D

Anyhow just tired from my nic overdose of the other day LOL so veg day today..Hardly ate a thing yesterday was so tired

Good times!!! :j It all helps. Such a shame we always have to spend 'extra' cash on debt, but in the meantime, the satisfaction of clearing debt is a real buzz :D

Cor, almost makes me wish I could go for PPI... can't remember what I was paying it on though and I'm sure some of them were longer than 6 years ago :( sad that it went straight to hmrc but excellent boost to your debt :)

I don't know an awful lot about it but a friend I pointed in the right direction was told that you can claim back for the last 10 years - I think it used to be 6 but they changed very recently!
