Our heating isn't on either - nor will it be as we are oil and our quotes are just shy of £1k to fill it:eek: We will be relying on the open fire and two panel heaters moved from room to room this year - used only when our fingers are turning blue (cue sad violin music! - lol!)
sophia-abigail-mummy - great news about the bonus - am really pleased for you :T
Just a small PAD of £1 to Halifax cc for me today. Payday tomorrow so we are down to the last few pennies, but determined to make a PAD so scraped all the small change up together
Hope everyone has a good day

Thanks so glad I have it coming otherwise car bill would have had to go on CC at moment its on OD waiting for pay next week. Might treat myself to some desperately needed jumpers no more than £50 as I need to pad some to bring debt down a little. padaddict lol

I really ought to take the boys to the vets but haven't got round to it. Maybe I will phone in a minute. They are drinking fine but not peeing properly. They will sulk and jump and everything LOL.....They won't like it. Will have to go prepared with banana chips
Och poor possums having to go the vets
I put the heating on beginning of the week but try to switch it off when the sun comes out and the lounge heats up...I only have the one on in the bedroom and it's fine...it's FAR too early to put the storage heaters on.....November till January will be just fine for me for the rest of the heaters ...

morning all,
we have had some issues with the house so look slike I wont be able to do the 0% BT for my most expensive card as we may need the money for the house - oh well, swings and roundabouts - trying to not let it get to me and just get on with ebaying like mad instead!!
PAD £7.43 towards halicrap CC today, STILL waiting on expenses - what a surprise and now have the cold/flu (I don't know teh difference!¬). Am rather glad tomorrow is Friday!
Hope everyone is doing well and in response to the question our heating has been on for a week - I was struggling to get out of my warm bed into the freezing house!
Just a wee thought from me here Mini. You could still put your high cc balance on to the 0% balance and then contact the cc company that has been cleared and ask them to offer you a better rate. I have phoned cc's before to see what they can offer me and it is no problem. They want your money any way they can get it. May not be viable in your case but I thought I would suggest it anyway. Hope it helps. xPAD-ing Since 7/1/11 2012 - £2329.10 2011 - £4760.88 :money:

Our cats like jumpers tooI have left two old ones on the floor for them to curl up in, and they're very happy with that!
£54.11 for me today please Skaps!
LOL - just to clarify, when I said 'in my jumper', I meant whilst I am still wearing it...they shove their heads down the sleeves first, then when they realise they can't get in that way, they 'dig' at the neck with little paws (claws in, thank goodness) or tunnel their way in via the bottom hem. It's very funny, especially when they turn round on my lap under there and go to sleep! I can only fit one in at once though!0 -
Our heating finally went on for a couple of hours last night - the gritters are out so I figure thats a sign:D Will be on for a couple of hour in th evening and and hour in the morning and the rest of the time I'll be well wrapped up.
Pad today is £65 to the bank loan - thanks Skaps.0 -
...so when are you? :rotfl:
:rotfl: No comment. Let's put it this way, if I had a baby any time soon it would be sleeping in a drawer with a little sack on instead of a babygro. :rotfl:
Heating, hmm. OH keeps sneaking it up to 15 and I keep turning it back down to 12 but I do need a jumper, slippers, heat pad and a blanket now as feeling the chill. I swear I'm cold-blooded.
The cats are quite democratic about sharing my warmth - two line up on my knee and one either lies across my stomach (not the comfiest position for me ) or cuddles up between me and the arm of the couch. OH gets left on his own as he doesn't have the blanket. :rotfl:
No pad today but will be padding a biggish amount (ie what I can scrape together from a few different saving pots) in the next few days - my washing machine died and I had to get a new one on my cc.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £11,174, Car loan 2 £5,532, CC 0% BT £780. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.0 -
£9 from me today please skaps to various savings pots
No heating on here in saorsie towers, have open fire lit in evenings if necessary ~ plenty of jumpers, fleeces, body warmers, woolley tights etc (Mr s is not admitting to the latter). Am thinking about experimenting with diy solar warmth ie: sun on back of house early on, all blinds fully open to warm rooms, sit in there to read, drink tea etc - sun at front of house later on, shut blinds at back to trap in warmth, open fully at front, make use of front room, then shut those when sun goes in. Gotta be worth a try and even if I only save 10p I'd rather have it in my account than give it to those robbing b*st*rds N*shower of sh*te  (will probably have a secondary advantage in that all this running around opening and closing blinds will build a sweat on and I wont feel the cold anyway
)
*rant over* (for now )
